This guy chocolate128CN on Youtube has posted a bunch of old GAEA clips.  Some short documentaries and some matches.  The documentarties are even subtitled in English, albeit rather badly (it looks like what you get when you run something through an online translator).  There's also some older Chigusa Nagayo stuff on that channel, so I'm guessing chocolate128CN is a Chiggy mark.

Here's one to get you started:  http://youtu.be/12ur_6fSIcw

I subscribed last month. Totally was not expecting to see GAEA's first and last shows. Finally saw a full version house show/tv version of Super Eccentrics vs D-Fix

Was this a recent thing or something else you're referring to cause Chiggy's been following that pattern on & off since the late 90's.

She'll be really big for a while, periodically get motivated to get in shape & drop a bunch of weight then not be able to maintain things and put all the weight back on.

Purowookie is a Youtuber that posts quite a bit of STARDOM.  I think the recent (8/5/2012) "red belt" title match between Nanae Takahashi & Yoshiko is pretty sweet.  I love how Yoshiko disrespects everyone and everything in puroresu, from her mentor Nanae to veteran referee Kyohei Wada (he worked for All Japan for decades).

http://youtu.be/dWRh9czAST8

We also have the "white belt" title match between Yuzuki Aikawa & Yoko Bito.

That has been where I was watching a good deal Stardom the last month. Would have mentioned it, but seeing as so many here didn't seem to give a crap about it I figured why bother. Was going to mention that match though. He also just posted Kimura vs. Natsuki from the same show which was pretty damn awesome.

Um what are you talking about? Everyone except for me LOVES Stardom.

Anyway, ChibaIsh has a lot of pre split JWP . ultraatoys uploads a lot of rare JWP vhs stuff, the latter being more focused on Cuty and Rumi but they overlap a lot as they both love Cuty.

Cuty vs Magnificent Mimi Lessos(? I always saw it spelled "Lessos") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pb848Ow4m8

That's common. But this was a recent thing as she was on some tv show within the last 2 years.

Its hard to think of other people around here when they are pretty silent the majority of the time so until a few days ago the only people here I heard talk about Stardom didn't seem to give a crap.

I love Stardom. JWP, NJPW, Chikara, Shimmer, and STarDom are basically the only promotions I have time for with my own budding wrestling career taking up so much of my time.

And yeah, Chigusa followed the trend of losing weight for this FAT CELEBRITIES BECOME THIN tv show that Bull and Dump Matsumoto appeared on. But as we saw in the hokuto runs a marathon tv program bonanza, she's gained all if not more of the weight back.

Likewise I assume I was the only person who liked OZ Academy but I know Shuper follows. JOshI follows and a lot of people have it at the top of their favorite promotions list.

I find fans of Stardom to be the most vocal types (in the thread in question I was the only person who didn't care for Stardom, like I said everyone else loves it). On and on about giving pretty girls a chance. You know, pretty soon they'll be the only thing talked about around here once the Sumo Hall show goes well and they totally take over- they can't really loose with their formula. Most fans in Japan (and even newer joshi puroresu fans on the eng slide) who know NJPW only know Stardom (or Kana) as far as the women go; it's not hard to see why; other than the press Aikawa got when Tokyo Sports put her next to Tanahashi as womens' mvp of the year for 2011.

Oh I completely agree in hating the direction, however I can't help but love the amount of fire they all bring in their matches. It's a ncie change of pace from a lot of the happy go lucky sprints that dog the entire scene these days.

It is possible to have a competitive air without appealing to the catfight element.

Stoic athletic competition is the hallmark of puroresu in general. The women have an edge with "bitchy" or "catfight" uncouth rage (for japanese society) but not every single match can be such a blood feud logically. If it happens all that often it could be a case of substitution.

As in, something is lacking (technically or in terms of storytelling) so add in the titillating distraction of women being catty.

It's not really cattiness in this particular case. They aren't adding bitchy hair pulling or brawling so much as just really having a raw meanness and competitiveness to them. I really enjoy it, because it comes off more realistic rather than just a series of acrobatics.

Occupation of the Joshi 005
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2fwY5wBiv4

With help of http://www.purolove.com for many of the match-ups

It's an all-joshi version of the "Occupation of the Indies" program.  It's labeled as #5; if anyone can find the first four anywhere, that would be awesome.

In the studio with Kana and some creepy puppet (probably voiced by the hipster guy that does color commentary for joshi on Samurai).

Then we get some heavily clipped highlights from various promotions.

Back in the studio with Kana & creepy puppet.

Back in the studio with Kana & creepy puppet.

Upcoming schedule (late February/early March) for various promotions.

Kana & creepy puppet some more.

GAMI and an injured Ayumi Kurihara announcing she'll miss the Regina di WAVE tournament
2/17/2013 Kana vs Mio Shirai (Ayumi's replacement) in one Regina di WAVE semifinal
2/17/2013 Yumi Ohka vs Misaki Ohata in the other semifinal (both clips relatively long)

Back in studio.
Kana plugs "FOXY Birthday", which I think is her next Triple Tail.S show, on 2/24/2013.
Show ends with a few minutes of Kana prancing around in her bra & panties and in bikinis.  *Oni*
