I got the winners of the matches, but no further details on times, finishers, etc.  Hopefully this guy http://kaniking.naganoblog.jp will post more info later; he's an indy worker from Nagano in the SWF promotion and also seems to be a fan of NEO and Ito Dojo.

Nice. KANI KING!! He has some good Ito Dojo photos too.

Blue Wolf has no puro career anymore. He left New Japan to open a dojo in his home country of Mongolia. There are no reports on how that is going, but he has basically left his puroresu life behind in Japan.

I can't find MAKEHEN results, but here's the round-up of minor results for the past several days.  Lots of year-end battle royales.

UNION December 20, 2007
Shin-Kiba 1st Ring
143 Fans

3. Cherry & Keita Yano defeated Ribbon Takanashi & Miki Ishii (16:21) when Cherry hit Ishii with a Diving Knee to the back of the head.

It's not true that Cherry and Miki Ishii went to school together.  Miki isn't that old  *haha

JWP December 23, 2007
JWP Exercise Hall

1. KAZUKI & Asuka Ohki defeated Keito & Mayuka Niizeki (9:28) when KAZUKI used a Diving Knee Drop on Niizeki.
2. Christmas Tree Match: Kaori Yoneyama defeated Tojuki Leon (7:19) by Tree Fall.
3. Azumi Hyuga, Kayoko Haruyama, & Sachie Abe defeated Command Bolshoi, Tsubasa Kuragaki, & Arisa Nakajima (15:47) when Haruyama used a Lariat on Nakajima.
4. Santa Battle Royale: Nakajima Santa defeated KAZUKI Santa (15:27) by throwing her over the top rope. Others, in order of elimination: Bolshoi Santa, Hyuga Santa, Abe Santa, Keito Santa, Niizeki Santa, Haruyama Santa, Kuragaki Santa, Yoneyama Santa, Leon Santa, Ohki Santa.

Nothing gets me in the spirit of the season more than Arisa Nakajima  *livid  I wonder if she got a Christmas card from Senjo?  NEO had a dojo show on the 23rd as well, but they don't release cards or results on them, so we only get results if some blogger happens to go and post on it, like happened a few months back at the show where Makoto imitated Tamura.

K-DOJO "CLUB-K 3000 '07 FINAL" December 23, 2007
Chiba BlueField
145 Fans

3. Christmas Present Scramble Battle Royal: Hiro Tonai defeated Makoto Oishi (46:08) with a Kid Clutch.  Others, in order of elimination: Kaji Yamato, Boso Boy Raito, Apple Miyuki, Tadanobu Fujisawa, Saburo Inematsu, Kunio Toshima, Madoka, TAKA Michinoku, Taishi Takizawa, PSYCHO, Mr. X, KAZMA, Teppei Ishizaka, Pepe Kawasaki, Shiori Asahi, Boso Boy Left, Kengo Mashimo, Yuji Hino, Taku Anzawa, Daigoro Kashiwa, Yuu Yamagata, MIYAWAKI, Naoki Tanisaki, JOE.

Looks like the whole K-DOJO roster.  Apple out early, while Yuu was in for about 40 minutes.

ZERO-SUN "YEARS*CROSS OVER" December 24, 2007
Korakuen Hall
1500 Fans

2. Chick Royal 2007: Saki Maemura defeated Fuuka (20:19) with the Never Give Up!  Others, in order of elimination: Kana, Ran Yu-Yu, Natsuki*Taiyo, ? & Hikaru, Nanae Takahashi, Toshie Uematsu.

I got this result from purolove.  I think what he has as ? is Aja Kong, since she was on the card.  I wonder if Maemura is going to be heel in Japan? My guess is no, what Hikaru and Saki do in Honolulu stays in Honolulu.  Maybe they'll cut more Engrish promos.  I find it interesting that Ran was in this, as I don't think she's ever worked a SUN match before. I wouldn't doubt it if she is ZEST.CO, as some have guessed.  How come Kyoko Kimura isn't getting booked by SUN anymore?

It probably was Aja Kong, but the writing was different, I can't quite make it out. Must have been some gimmick.

Sadly, SportsNavi didn't cover the show like they always do with Z-1 Korakuen shows (at least they haven't posted results/report/pictures yet). That would have been an easy way to confirm whether or not it was indeed Aja.

Damn your late. I noticed the general lack of Kimura several months ago, around when WAVE started up actually which makes me wonder if it had anything to do with it.

Sports Navi has the info on the MAKEHEN "New Year's Party" run by Io & Mio.

Headline refers to the - "Beautiful Sisters' Confrontation..."

http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/fight/other/headlines/wrestling/20080121-00000014-spnavi-fight.html

TEAM MAKEHEN
"MAKEHEN New Year's Party"
January 20, 2008
Shin-kiba 1st Ring
61 fans <-- OUCH WAVE-esque levels!!

3. Mio Shirai vs. Io Shrai (10:00) went to a time limit draw

2. Hiroshi Kosakai def. Kyosuke Sasaki (4:20) with a German suplex hold.

1. Tomohiko Hashimoto def. Masato Shibata (8:23) with a Crippler Crossface

Mariko was at the show observing. She said she had little time to watch the Shirai sisters in action at previous IBUKI shows, and wanted to get a better look as both girls are booked for Sunday's show.

Fuuka of course was also there and said at times Mio & Io were in a "panic state" but managed to calm down.

I'm not really surprised at how low it drew. Their were only 3 matches, and none of the wrestlers in them were big names.

What the hell is a Mawashi Kick. Main event is the only thing that looks worthwhile. Is it me or did this show not get the same build up her first two did?

I think it's just a roundhouse kick.  I'd agree that this seemed to have less attention than the other Fuuka events.

Fuuka posted about the show on her blog.

She said the reporters kept asking her what the kick she used to win was and she said she didn't know saying "it was a spur of the moment kick" but describes it as a "two step jumping high kick."

This is Fuka's father:

I wouldn't fuck with Fuka's father...

Her Mom was the ring announcer

And some singing

LOL at Mio emoting like Ayumi Hamasaki and RICA getting down!

Fuka and Io don't look so good at this singing live bit. It seems so NOT-IO to me, though karaoke is a popular past time.

Here's a rarity, Ito Dojo results, from Ito Dojo's forum (which I didn't know that had until today) at http://www1.rocketbbs.com/210/kokoro_w.html.

ITO DOJO "HEART-CHAPTER 7" March 2, 2008
Shin-Kiba 1st Ring

1. Ayako Sato defeated Hanako Kobayashi (10:39) with a German Suplex Hold.
2. Mai Ichii defeated Tomoko Morii (9:22) with a Comet Kick.
3. Aki Kambayashi defeated Obacchi Iizuka (12:44) by submission with the Daikon Clutch.
4. Takako Inoue's 20th Anniversary & Manami Toyota's Birthday Match: Manami Toyota defeated Takako Inoue (13:42).
5. Kaoru Ito & Yumiko Hotta defeated Ayako Hamada & Ayako Sato (23:53) when Ito used the Diving Footstomp on Sato.

The deal with match #1 is that Sato and Kobayashi were the upset winners of the tag tournament at the last Ito Dojo show a few months ago.  So they met here for the right to team with Hamada in the main event.

Match #4 honored Takako's 20th anniversary in wrestling and also happened to be Manami's 37th birthday.  Birthday girl won.  There are some photos of this match and cake at Takako's blog http://ameblo.jp/takaco-i/entry-10076822825.html

Hope someone gets that soon, as I'd love to see manami vs takako. Manami can still pull out a great match given the right reason or opponent. I would have selected Takako to win as your 20th anniversery is a little more important than a single birthday, unless it was like her 40th birthday. I'd rather eat takako's cake simply because I prefer chocolate, but I'd also eat Manami's simply because I love Manami.

Apparently MAKEHEN created a women's title.  Courtesy of http://blog.livedoor.jp/oznekosennin/archives/64898069.html, I present the results of the TLW Championship tournament-4 ladies, single elimination.  No, I don't know what TLW stands for or what Hailey's finishers are.  There was also a non-tournament match between Mika Mizunuma and Yoko Yamada that I don't have results for.

MAKEHEN March 19, 2008
Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.

1. Semifinal, TLW Tournament: Io Shirai defeated Yuka Mitsuya with a Crossface.
2. Semifinal, TLW Tournament: Hailey Hatred defeated Mio Shirai with the Explosion '98.
3. Mika Mizunuma vs Yoko Yamada
7. Final, TLW Tournament: Hailey Hatred defeated Io Shirai with the Diva Killer.

I'm assuming Hailey is playing the role of evil monster gaijin.

Interesting. Josh, did you even know they were planning to have a title and tournament? Was there a previous announcement? And who it the most obvious eventual hero (if your guess is correct) to unseat Hailey?

I didn't even know about it until I stumbled across the stuff at that blog.  I check that blog because the dude is a big OZ/JWP fan and posts results and pictures from those shows.  I think this blogger has a thing for the Shirai sisters as well  *Oni*

I have no idea what they will do with this title.  If it's just a thing for the MAKEHEN girls to fight over, then I suppose one of the Shirai sisters will play the Gail Kim role to Hailey's AK.  If they bring in outsiders, then who knows?  This could also very well end up being one of those titles that is forgotten about 3 months from now.
