Ranmaru/Muto 10th Anniversary Show, 12/21/08

It was announced that the recently returned Ranmaru, along with Hiroyo Muto, will have a 10th anniversary show together on December 21st at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.  This will also serve as Muto's retirement match, as she will be leaving wrestling after this show.

Muto hasn't been very active in the past few years, as far as I know. I wonder if the cause was injure, lack of interest or what....
Is she a freelance or is there a promotion where sh'd be supposed to work ?

That sucks. I will miss the show by a week. I wish that I could go and support Ran.

The opener will have all 3 ZAPS.  ZAP I is Kaoru Ito.  ZAP T is Tomoko Watanabe, who hasn't appeared since retiring about 2 years ago.  I guess this is a one-time special appearance.  ZAP Isozaki was the junior ZAP, who was played by Tomoka Isozaki in AJW in the late 1990s.  Isozaki, for those who don't know, is Ranmaru, who took on her current gimmick after leaving AJW for Jd'.

The second match apparently involves invisible people and a five-minute time limit.  But don't worry, they will have extra time if there is a draw.  I think Invisible Man N will job to Invisible Man F. 

I think the third match is some sort of cosplay battle royale, as I think there's a lottery to decide who you have to dress up as.

The final 2 matches are more straightforward.  Muto wanted another big power worker for her final match, so she got Genki, who is retiring herself 10 days after this show.

Invisible Man N is so going to pwn on Invisible Man F, it's not even going to be close!

I wonder if this show will end up on a DVD somewhere...I would like to see it, cos between a CosPlay Battle Royale and Muto's retirement, there's stuff from both ends of the spectrum of interest on it
