Hiroyo blogged that beating Yoshida was meaningful to show her growth since Ibuki closed down. She also named Ohata as her lifelong rival. Then she announced the next challengers for the OZ Tag Titles will be Carlos Amano and Manami Toyota. This time, Hiroyo will pin Toyota!

Tomoka got the pinfall with a Air Raid Crash cutback into a modified bridging maneuver. After Mariko spoke on the microphone and said how great it was to wrestle her prized students and see their growth. She got all teary before being interrupted by Amano.

According to the OZ blog, after the match ended, Amano got on the apron and challenged Tomoka & Hiroyo, saying that she and Toyota would be their challengers. When they asked where Toyota was, Amano told them to hold on and got on her cellphone. This caused the fans to laugh.

Basically as they closed the show, and people were taking the commemorative photographs Amano stood on the apron on the phone. Finally Toyota suddenly showed up to make the challenge official.

Also, old NEO boss Koda was tweeting with Hiroyo about your website and Hiroyo's win/loss records. He claims there are missing entries from the 2008 NEO Hokkaido tour... he might just be messing with her though....

Sadly, he was right~ I missed 4 results. It's amazing he caught it, must have gone through the entire list. Hiroyo PM'ed me on Facebook to tell me, so I changed it today

p.s. Also, I think it's about time we change the title of this thread~ Don't ya think?

They can be friends and still be generational rivals. Right now Hiroyo is a heel in Oz and Misaki is a heel in WAVE...

I created an online cartoon photobook which chronicles her journey from birth to meeting Mariko Yoshida and joining Ibuki, to becoming one of the most prolific wrestlers of our time. I know this question will turn off Hiroyo fans but, remember the match she had aganist Okuda, the one with Okuda taken out by Hiroyo's backdrop? As far as I know i'ts an accident, but I want your thoughts about it. I can't imagine Hiroyo being compared to Kana when it comes to roughing up people (though I like Kana a lot). I want to know either Hiroyo did not excute the move well or Okuda did not take the move well and not able to protect herself, which is the reason Okuda got hurt? Thanks.

Okuda's proven to have glass bones in recent years, so I dunno if Hiroyo can be faulted for it.

Sometimes people get hurt for lots of reasons. Sometimes it's just "chance". Hiroyo looks very safe and seems to protect her opponents very well.

I only said not very stiff, I did not mean not stiff at all, since being a little stiff is supposed to be the trademark of joshi wrestling and puroresu in general.
