OK, here is the Hiroyo t-shirt gift for SHIMMER! Here is a prototype. I F'ed up on the type of iron-on so I'll have to do it over, need to buy another orange t-shirt now.... *umm

I made the stencil for her name, but haven't had time to put it together yet. But here's what the final product will likely look like:

Can't wait to make a perfect version and finish~ ;-D I've been working all weekend on these.....

Just wanted to say...AWESOME t-shirt *approve *bwah

I prefer the red shirt to be the back drop for the logo as opposed to the canary yellow you originally mentioned. You should make one of Ohata.

It's actually burnt orange. It's not too clear since I took it with flash on. I only was going to use Canary Yellow because I couldn't find an orange shirt at first, then I found it at JoAnne's.

Here is the final product:

I ended up making it on a size M shirt. I think Hiroyo and I are about the same height, but she's got about 30 pounds on me I think. So I think a Size M would fit better. I wonder if you guys would concur? She doesn't seem to wear very tight shirts.

P.S. I did make a Ohata shirt. Check her thread.

Oooops I had no idea I F'ed up on the picture links. Here is the final product. Looks a bit different, I think the lettering on top is a bit crooked but 3 orange shirts wasted later, I'm not doing another one.....

Tomorrow (7/16) is Hiroyo's 4th Anniversary in pro wrestling. Can you believe such little time but so much experience in that time.

At that time, the absolute champion Tamura Yoshiko was superimposed on a phenomenal defense, Yoshida Mariko challenge. Matsumoto Hiroyo was 3.5 months rookie debut, Yoshida Mariko sided with the teacher's second.

Yoshida lost the game "someday, I hope you take the belt to the challenge this strong champion Tamura," and entrusts the Revenge in Matsumoto.

Matsumoto was crying was to hear that, they nearly four years there, I decided to try it first with two belts of Tamura crown at last.

Eiger/Aiger usually does comedy matches, so it looks like she's trying the old "hypno then poison pill" trick to make the crowd laugh.

Hey I remember this! After the match Mariko got on the microphone and said it in front of everybody and Hiroyo was crying and the crowd gave her some love.

It's at 8:10.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL2W1dDTSFU#t=8m10s

This was the match where Tamura won by breaking her elbow on Mariko's nose (which also broke).

Oh Mariko, I hope you come back soon!

They have this on DVDR, so Someone sell me on Hiroyo. I mean I love her, especially when she's working in america, but I still don't completely get the full on FAVE OF THE JUNIORS that a few people have.

They have what on DVDR?

She's "FAVE OF THE JUNIORS" in Japan, not with gaijin.

Why? Well, probably because she's doing something right for companies to want to push her and having veterans happy to work with her. (Being strong and properly trained help.)

So basically, the pros see potential in her. What more do you need?

On dvdr they have a thread called like SOMEONE SELL ME ON:

I mean, it took me awhile to see the appeal of Kurihara, and now she's one of my faves. I'm also just kinda curious. Not trashing her at all, just kinda curious to see why she IS as liked as she is by a few of the members(i realize she's not a board fave like Kana or Kurihara, but she has some mega-support by quite a few)

To me sheís got a good package going Ė tall, can pull off power moves, but still agile, can be goofy, but also serious when need be, respected by peers and veterans alike. I started liking her way more after seeing how the veterans have just taken to her Ė Mariko Yoshida, Kyoko Inoue, Devil Masami, Aja Kong. I mean, canít get better endorsements than those. Devil handing her the Ligerbomb was the clincher for me I think (ooops there goes an answer for the JFW trivia match). Plus Iím a big fan of her look, loving the current costume with the zebra stripes and tattered tassels Ė GO TASSELS!!!!

To be fair about the veterans, that could easily just be because of her size, her backstage personality, and being a hardworker, not necessarily her skill.

I also wish she had a primary strike or that her elbows would actually look good. She works a lot better in America though, I dunno if she's just a goofy america lover like Dragon Gate or what, but her charisma goes through the roof in Berwynn

So? Kansai wasnít necessarily the most skilled, but because of her size and charisma, became one of the top wrestlers. I donít like a wrestler just for their skills, itís the whole package. But I think Matsumoto is more skilled than Kansai though.

Kansai had plenty of skill and had BRUTAL kicks and had massive lariats. Hiroyo's obviously a better mat technician.

I like skill, but the whole package also works like why I love Daffney.

I can now see more why you like Hiroyo, but I'm still missing something from her, and I dunno if that's a strike or what.

At least that's for when she's in japan. In America her charisma completely puts her over the top with me.

Her charisma is noticed in Japan. The other girls always comment on her as being beautiful, and Sanshiro Takagi is a big fan.

Aja Kong wouldn't step in the ring with her if she thought her skill was sub-par.

I never said her skills were subpar, or that she wasn't at all charismatic. I merely meant that she's not AS charismatic and that I still don't see her as being near the top of the pack as far as juniors. top 10 easily, but I wouldn't put her in the top 5.

Just my own personal opinion.

Thanks for the help Shupz and Lucky for giving me a bit more of an understanding.  *approve.

I became a Matsumoto fan early 2009 when a YT subbie continually asked me to upload Hiroyo matches, and ONLY Hiroyo matches. It made me take a closer look at her and what really made her stand out for me is the passion and dedication she seems to has for the sport. Not saying other juniors or veterans don't have it, but TO ME Hiroyo looks like someone who puts more heart into her ringwork than others.
