So I wonder how this would have been booked if Stardom still had Takumi, Koguma, and Yoshiko like they did at the start of the year?

Meiko might not have even won the title if they still had those three.

Senjo provided an early card offer match at Genichiro Tenryu's big retirement show at Sumo Hall.  I think this might have been the biggest crowd any of them ever wrestled in front of, unless that WCW Monday Nitro that Meiko worked against Toshie Uematsu had a bigger crowd.  I'm quite confident Chisako, Sachiko, and Cassandra have never worked a show this big.

My Senjo update, courtesy of sendaigirls.jp and ameblo.jp/ringstars

The aftermath of the Hakata main event saw (if my online translator is right) both Aja & Chihiro challenging Meiko for the Senjo belt, with Aja & Meiko annoyed at the impertinence of a rookie like Hashimoto issuing such a challenge.  I could see a Meiko vs Aja defense, with Meiko retaining, or maybe they give Chihiro a shot and teach her a lesson, as she's run roughshold over other rookies, with her only career loss so far being against Io Shirai at the Sendai vs STARDOM show.

Jumonji Shimai (Chisako & Sachiko) also worked a match in JWP, where they switched sides and it was Chisako & Arisa Nakajima vs Sachiko & Tsukasa Fujimoto.  It went to a draw and the sisters will defend their JWP & Daily Sports tag titles on 12/27 at JWP's year-end Korakuen Hall show against Nakajima/Fujimoto, the "Best Friends" tag team.  This looks like a likely moment for them to drop the titles back to JWP.

No announcement yet on what the card will be for Sachiko's retirement show in January.  Word is the show is already sold out.  The problem is that Miyagino Cultural Ward Center is too small a venue but Sendai Sun Plaza is too large for such a show.  Zepp Sendai was the right size, but that venue no longer exists.

Results from Jumonji Shimai Last Osaka, and the first match for the Shinjuku FACE show.  Chihiro gets to learn that beating Aja is a hell of a lot harder than beating Iwata or a STARDOM rookie.

Results (without attendance or match times) https://twitter.com/iwan_patriot

Future shows http://sendaigirls.jp/schedule/

As I would have predicted, Aja beats Chihiro and will be Meiko's first defense of the Senjo singles title, to take place at Korakuen in April. I think Meiko will retain and they'll build to a big defense at Sun Plaza in October.

I think Jumonji Shimai will defend the Senjo tag belts and Sachiko will retire with them.  I could see a one-day tournamenet at a future show to crown new champs.

I will fantasy book the final three of battle royale to be Meiko, Chisako, Sachiko.  Sisters team up to beat Meiko and then it's sister against sister for the final moments of Sachiko's career, with older sister getting the pin.

Some pictures.  I think I would approve of a Meiko-Shuri feud for 2016.

https://twitter.com/zen666zen

Sachiko & Kimura have a strong relationship that was forged when Sachiko went on an expedition to Okinawa in 2011 when Kimura worked for Okinawa Pro.  This covered the time immediately after the earthquake/tsunami disaster, as Sachiko was in Okinawa when it happened.  Chisako ended up living and working with JWP at that time.

Iwata's gonna be the kicker.  I always wondered why Satomura didn't have a trainee that was a kicker.

Nerd villain--even if she's got a ways to go in the ring, I love the commitment to the character.  Feels kind of Uematsu-esque.

Jumonji Shimai

Chihiro bites off more than she can chew today.  Aja's no rookie.

Results of Sendai Sachiko's retirement show.  They seem to be teasing more stuff with Mizunami & Ohata in Sendai, particulary between Miz & Meiko.  The sisters retained the tag titles, as I expected, which they will now vacate.  The final battle royale, from Twitter pictures, looks like everyone ganged up on Meiko for the early elimination.  She wasn't listed in the Sendai homepage official results, but Hiren made a special appearance as a second and got in the ring to give Sachiko a boot to the face.  Of course, it ended with Jumonji Shimai against each other.

Would be nice to see Miz come home and take the belt away from Meiko. At the very least her & Ohata as challengers would be fun.

Some partial cards ; a bit surprised the Meiko-Shuri singles is happening as soon as March.  I expect a draw or a Shuri win to set up a title match later in the year, maybe at Sendai Sun Plaza this coming fall.  I'm assuming Meiko will retain the Senjo title over Aja.
