Both of these statements sent my mind right to the gutter. I'm so ashamed. Amused... but ashamed.

in order to solidify the roster, sendai should add more girls

I'll always vote for quality over quantity as it relates to roster size. The old school process of elimination was an important part of the process.

HEN, in other words you prefer that the sendai girls work interpromotional shows?

Yes, as opposed to adding more lesser-talented and lesser-experienced wrestlers to fill out their roster. However, adding more experience and talent to the roster would be adding quality too. I just don't see how it benefits them to add more of Meiko's students to their shows.

Its called filling out a roster so they eventually won't have to bring in so many outsiders. Will take them a few years, but its not a bad thing at all. It was already mentioned earlier in the thread why Meiko started out in SENDAI alone so I doubt anything has changed that will make them able to bring in more experienced wrestlers on the roster.

I'm not knocking gradual additions either. But I don't think any roster should have a massive (in this case, I guess most of us are talking about 3-5?) influx of newbies just to fill out a roster. The overall quality of the product will suffer.

looking at the roster, it is small and of most of the programs that ive watched at SENDAI, the only way for them to win is to wrestle against a fellow SENDAI girl. the girls look like jobbers during interpromotional shows because of that hence agreeing with Eivion that you bring in too many outsiders

Honestly rookies affect the product very little until they start moving up. The product is pretty much just Meiko and maybe Okuda now. Bringing in new rookies won't affect them at all.

I haven't seen that many Senday matches to really get to know well Okuda's skills. as far as I know all the Sendai girls look like very promising rookies and more or less all at the same level. Yet, considering that Okuda has been pushed more than the others I am certainly wrong about her; can anyone tell me in which aspects is Tyrannosaurus O. better or more mature than her colleagues?
On the opposite side, who do you consider as the weakest of the group (not considering Mari harada, of course) ?
thank you

i think it's DASH chisako
okay she's aggressive but she'd better upgrade her moveset
when she went against toyota, it was obvious that toyota was trying to put her over but she could not live to it

Personally, I think DASH has more than enough in-ring personality to get over the fact that she doesn't bust out as many moves, but what she does use is usually done in an effective manner.  Seriously,I frickin love her facial expressions.  She was great with the "fighting spirit" in the Toyota match and her attitude in her full match against Mizunama was almost Tamura levels of cockiness.
I may drop you on your head

Also when Takako Inoue no-sold her forearm smash that DASH used to set Takako up for a missle dropkick. DASH didn't even notice, she just climed the ropes only to turn around to see Takako smiling at her. She put her hands up almost like to beg Takako "please don't embarass me to bad here."

The thing I've liked about the SENDAI girls (excluding Meiko) that I've seen in matches is that they stay within themselves and have solid matches. I'm glad they don't try to go too big. It's good for the outside talent appearing, and it's good for whomever is on top of the card (usually Meiko). I haven't seen the most recent stuff from Okuda, but I'm interested in seeing where she is now.

I absolutely agree, Okuda was great on that match, and Aja too...the match began as a simple squash from Aja, but slowly develoed and Okuda -although her winning was never even suspected- managed to really shine on that match

among the highlights of the match:
-Okuda's sequence of German followed by the diving knee attack. Those were really delivered with the authority of a veteran (although then she went back into rookie mode by delivering some cute but weak elbows/fists on Aja's back)
-Aja's atttempt at a uraken: before doing it she sort of pats on Okuda's cheek as is saying "be quiet, little girl, and it'll be over in a second; it'll hurt less if you don't resist it"
-Okuda's immediate blocking the uraken
