Nanae is awesome. I'll have to get a top ten thrown together soon. Here's where I'm at so far:

What happened to Nanae (and natsuki and Hikaru too)? Since last December they have only wrestled occasionally. I know tha Sun isn't producing joshi shows anymore (more or less), but I would have expected them to freelance or at least appear a little in other promotions. How do they pay their bills ?????

I don't know what the deal is. Hikaru and Saki have been regularly working ZERO1 shows, but Nanae and Natsuki haven't.

They still update their SUN blogs but don't mention anything.

Also, they have contracts working for First On Stage so they're still getting paid.

I also hope they train regularly. I would hate if they'd waste their time with no chance to work in the ring and become rusty !

isn't she allowed to talk about what REALLY is going on at SUN?
i think she only mentioned that she is PO'ed with the way her contract is handled there

Just watched an AJW 10.5.03 music video on youtube. Nanae and Kumiko Maekawa hve some serious beef. Especially Maekawa, she looked like she got some problems. If you like watching people shoot on pro-wretling, check this out. Crazy

That's why I wanna see Maekawa vs Takahashi so badly. It's maekawa's last match so she has nothing to lose. I can imagine how much bruising they caused to each other.

Nanae reported in her blog today that Natsuki and her are now free-lancers. Nanae has popped up on several upcoming cards for May, although Natsuki hasn't appeared on one yet. She didn't go into detail, but I presume that their contracts with F.O.S./Z1-MAX have expired.

I don't know the status of Hikaru and Saki Maemura-whether they will continue working for Z1-MAX or if their contracts have also expired.

Very happy to hear they are out of their contracts finally, but I really was hoping for all them to join promotions instead of freelance. Its really only good for Nanae who has the true freedom due to her status.

Which kind of makes me wonder what Natsuki's intent is. .. .. I was hoping she'd join some promotion as well.

This was the match that finally opened my eyes to Matsuo.

But, Matsuo debuted in NEO on June 24, 2001 so she knows her way around a wrestling ring. And her recent NEO angle with Kyoko she's being kind of bitchy which I feel should be her angle now instead of cute skinny girl with a sweet springboard dropkick.

I guess I'm saying she needs to act more like Arisa.

it's okay, lucky
i know that matsuo is good but the way she is booked as champ at NEO is pretty bleh

maybe if more matches like these would come, it might be easier for the crowd soon to cheer for her
(and perhaps bring back the matsuo that i once admired)

question: am i the only one that enjoyed nanae vs azumi?

I loved that match. Thought it could have been slightly better given how similar their styles are, but I still friggin loved it.
