3matches in one night with 2 of the matches as 6man tag matches, JWP should have done something better than this
is their time too limited to book singles matches?

It was just a "dojo" show, so it's just a reduced card of exhibition matches held at JWP's training gym rather than a regular venue. JWP is famous for running lots of silly gimmicks at these shows (Christmas tree match, matches where the wrestlers have to eat a certain kind of food if they get knocked out of the ring, swimming pool matches, etc.)

I'm pretty sure that these dojo shows are less expensive to go to than regular shows.  I think the only people that go to these shows are the most hardcore fans and people on a budget.

NEO has dojo shows as well, but unlike JWP they don't post the cards or results on their website, so we never find out what happened unless some blogger went to the show.

I went to a dojo show once. You need to take a bus to get there, so you know that you are out of Tokyo. It seemed to me that the crowd was split between hardcore fans and people who walked there, from kids to old timers. A free glass of sake came with admission and they had to eat rice balls if they were knocked from the ring. Fans are right up to the ring where the magazine photographers usually are, so the falls from the ring usually landed on the fans. Way more fun than serious. Kazuki was pouring sake and Tommy Ran was grilling mochi.

Some more interesting results from JWP today.  Results from http://blog.livedoor.jp/oznekosennin/.  This blogger is great about getting up results quickly from several promotions, but he/she never gives times of the matches.  I'll get those in once the results are posted on the JWP homepage.

UPDATED with match times and attendance.  I think 261 is a huge number for the Cinema Club.

JWP January 27, 2008 (afternoon)
Tokyo Cinema Club
261 Fans

1. Sachie Abe defeated Mayuka Niizeki (9:21) with a Backdrop Suplex Hold.
2. Ran Yu-Yu & Toshie Uematsu defeated KAZUKI & Asuka Ohki (15:09) when Uematsu used a Diving Body Press on Ohki.
3. Tsubasa Kuragaki & Arisa Nakajima defeated Keito & Sonoko Kato (15:34) when Nakajima pinned Keito.
4. Command Bolshoi & Tojuki Leon defeated Azumi Hyuga & Kaori Yoneyama (16:54) when Leon pinned Yoneyama.
5. Haruyama 10th Anniversary Match: Kayoko Haruyama defeated Etsuko Mita (21:51) with the Keene Hammer.

Haruyama goes over as expected in her 10th anniversary match.  Tojuki picks up a nice win over Yoneyama.  If I'm not mistaken, I think this is the first time my favorite bitchy Japanese teenager (Arisa) has pinned one of the JWP seniors with this win over Keito.

JWP has several masked characters (including Electric Wave Mask Woman, Kumabobo, Sarubobo, etc.) that appear sporadically, usually at smaller shows so they can double-book.  I'm pretty sure KAZUKI and Kaori Yoneyama (who wrestled the opening match as themselves) appeared as these gimmicks in the later match.

Radio Mask Women is something like "Denpakamen Joshisur..." hard for me to hear during this intro.

Denpa = Radio

Kamen = mask

And I always thought Policewo~men was Yuki Miyazaki but then I saw them in a battle royal together...

JWP 12.9.08

JWP Tag Team Title:
Tsubasa Kuragaki & Kayoko Haruyama (c) vs. Nanae Takahashi & Natsuki*Taiyo
JWP Openweight Title: Azumi Hyuga (c) vs. Kaori Yoneyama

These two matches were off the hook. The tag match was the best tag I've seen all year. Magnificent.

Today JWP ran 3 more league matches and a Texas Lumberjack match for no apparent reason.  No one has gotten more than 2 points yet in the league.  I hope no one got hurt in the Keito-Leon match, as it went only 3 minutes.

does anybody have that match?

The booking for this league already screams "Ugh!"  Seriously, Arisa shouldn't have beaten Yumi, while if LEON didn't get hurt, she should've beaten Keito.  So far, the booking for this just doesn't make any sense.

Yes, I think you have it there.  It is more often than not a spinny round deal before the drop.

JWP March 2, 2008
Itabashi Green Hall
142 Fans

1. Shu Shibutani defeated Mayuka Niizeki (10:30) with a Missile Kick.
2. Sachie Abe & KAZUKI defeated Toshie Uematsu & Bullfight Sora (16:15) when Abe used a Huricanrana on Sora.
3. Block B: Commando Bolshoi [4] defeated Yumi Ohka [0) (14:22) with a Palm Strike.
4. Block B: Tsubasa Kuragaki [4] defeated Arisa Nakajima [2] (12:47) with a Lariat.
5. Block A: Kayoko Haruyama [2] defeated Keito [2] (18:08) with the Keene Hammer.
6. Kaori Yoneyama & Ran Yu-Yu defeated Azumi Hyuga & Tojuki Leon (17:21) when Yu-Yu used a Rolling Elbow on Leon.

Here are the current standings:
Block A
Ran Yu-Yu 4 points (2 matches left-vs Leon on 3/16 and Kato on 4/4)
Sonoko Kato 4 points (2 matches left-vs Haruyama on 3/16 and Ran on 4/4)
Kayoko Haruyama 2 points (2 matches left-vs Kato on 3/16 and Leon on 4/4)
Keito 2 points (no matches left-cannot win Block A)
Tojuki Leon 0 points (2 matches left-vs Ran on 3/16 and Haruyama on 4/4-cannot win Block A)

My guess is that Block A is going to have the "outsider" win and the match between Ran and Sonoko on 4/4 will decide.  My prediction is Ran Yu-Yu.

Block B
Commando Bolshoi 4 points (2 matches left-vs Nakajima on 3/16 and Kuragaki on 4/4)
Kaori Yoneyama 4 points (1 match left-vs Ohka on 3/16)
Tsubasa Kuragaki 4 points (1 match left-vs Bolshoi on 4/4)
Arisa Nakajima 2 points (1 match left-vs Bolshoi on 3/16-cannot win Block B)
Yumi Ohka 0 points (1 match left-vs Yoneyama on 3/16)

This Block could go several ways.  I think Bolshoi will end up winning the group (beat Arisa and draw with Kuragaki to clinch group) and then lose to Ran in the finals.
