Props also need to be given to Hailey, just for being so damn cool and hanging with and showing around the gaijin coming in. She's there for a long haul, but definitley being super cool with all the gals coming over and showing them a good time. No bitterness =professional.
Hailey rocks!
I totally agree about Hailey!  She has been amazing to Mia and Roxie (and probably the girls at Diana too).  I believe she was instrumental in recommending Mia and Roxie in the first place.  It has been extrememly generous of her to give up some of her own agenda to be friend, trainer, translator, tour guide -- Hailey is the best!  I hope Mia and Roxie brought her everything she asked for from the States!

Didn't see any fan reaction yet, but for 12 minutes it reads like they did like a powerhouse sprint.

So Rossy Ogawa has become enamored with Mercedes. Originally when he met her at the airport he was somewhat shocked she wasn't Mexican, as he's a HUGE lucha mark. When she told him she's Puerto Rican he wasn't sure what to expect from her wrestling.

Well, she did great in her match as we konw and Rossy posted in his blog that that she was a "hit," has a great "charm" and that he hopes to bring her back and called her a "...right lucky find."

Mercedes went out after to the STARDOM afterparty, where apparently Fuka got completely smashed.

Just saw this on the SMASH site -  http://www.smashxsmash.jp/cgi-bin/challenge/diary.cgi?no=134

All Japan PRo Wrestling is doing a show in Taipei, Taiwan on November 5th - 6th.

TAJIRI and Makoto are on the card, along with Cheerleader Melissa...

On the 5th it will be :

Ultimo Dragon & BUSHI & Makoto
vs
Dark dragon & BLACK BUSHI & Cheerleader Melissa

and on the 6th:

Makoto
vs
Cheerleader Melissa

Wonder if Melissa is covering for Serena...

Hopefully Melissa has a good showing and starts getting booked in Japan again  *whee

Sucks about Serena though, but she's assured she's merely postponing her match with melina, which means it isn't as serious as some originally thought.

Sarah Stock (aka Sarita (TNA), Dark Angel (Mexico)) is in Japan for the first time in 5 years. She had a "Fantastic first day in Tokyo...a bit of training, press conference and some delicious beef curry for supper."
Just guessing from this pic, that she'll be working a Stardom show.

I think she was supposed to work the final Fuka Matsuri show but she couldn't make it so they had someone from Mexico fill in for her.

Pro Wrestling Sun
All Japan
4 years under TNA contract + A stint w Ring Ka King
No political ties to anyone that would pay to bring her over
Probably not willing to fly herself
Possibly not interested in staying thear for months at a time
Not a big enough name that most would want to bring her over for a few one shot deals
Just a big enough name that she probably wouldn't do it for dirt cheap if someone was interested

She's been booked in Japan/by Japanese companies a few times since ARSION
Multiple potential reasons why it hasn't happened often

She went to Japan for ARSION, JD Star, and Sun. And also had a stint in taiwan for AJP.

The only company with any money to fly her over is STarDom and as flik said, she has no ties there outside of Hailey and even that isn't anythign more than Hailey really loving their match in Canada and wanting a repeat. The only girls going to Japan right now are young girls who are willing to pay their flight for the experience. I suspect the only reason Del Rey went was one last hurrah before signing with WWE.

Shame though, as even though she's slown down a bit this year, she's still in the top 3 indy workers in north america going.

Guy who money marks REINA is big on foreign talent + Sara's tight with Hotta from the AtoZ days so i'd assume they most likely paid her trans.

Mostly. Some pay, some get flew over but work for cheap. On her WOW podcast int a while back Skater went into a lot of detail basicly exsplaining that when the girls go over, they get promised x amount of bookings and the chance to train at the dojos and that's it. Anything extra is on them. Tells a funny story of how she got her Stardom bookings because she got drunk with Nanae one night and she took a liking to her.
