So it seems like DIANA plus freelancers.

Hikaru is returning to pro wrestling, but not as a performer only as a manager. She has a sponsor called AIB Group (www.ai-bank.jp), and is getting promotional help from DIANA and FIRST ON STAGE.

I guess she saw Nanae make a run with STARDOM and wants to have a go...instead with the seniors and shoppai gaijin.

While she won't be wrestling, I'd love if she could get Saki Maemura out of retirement. I thought Saki retired at maybe her physical peak. She was having great matches right before she hung the boots up.

Misaki also didn't look done when she retired. Liek HIKARU you could see was pretty much over it, but Misaki couldn't even get through the comedy spots without tearing up.

And then what? Happy Hour only does a few shows a year, in probably the same old 200-300 seat venues as Diane. They do have a bank as sponsor, but we dont know how much they will be willing to invest. Diane is basicly a group of 3 old women + a 14 year old girl. Unless they can bring in S-Ovation or the Sendai Girls i just dont see a future for them.

Came here to post this in a nicer way. If Diana isnt successful then half of their original roster under a new name wont be successful either.

And I wouldnt bank(lol) too much on Hikarus sponsor; have they ran more then one show?

Oh I wasn't really speaking of the rights and wrongs of it, just that I think they'll combine unless HAPPY HOUR just pays DIANA to use their girls sometimes. DIANA was heavenly leveraged by Kyoko and is deep in the red already...they're already doomed.

Kyoko thought it was still the 1990s or something. It's pretty obvious the ICE RIBBON/STARDOM model is the present and future. If some of those girls stick around and improve, 5 years from now you could have a pretty strong group of talent.

But DIANA...yeah...doomed from the start.

In addition to using DIANA workers, Hikaru's new project will also be using Basara (she'll be at the November show and will have a comeback match in December) and a trainee.  The trainee is a former softball player named Miwako Nomura (167 cm, 70 kg) with a planned debut in December.
