THE SOURCE

The SOURCE has learned that GALAXY will feature a star studded 8 Woman Tag Match on May 11th.

Triple Tails & Rena to take on Bad Blood next Wednesday

Rookie sensation Rena, a two time Shootboxing S-Cup Women's Champion, has been training for her next match with none other than Kana, Mio Shirai and Io Shirai, known together as Triple Tails.  Kana is coming off an emotional defeat and welcomes the reunion with her close friends and associates, the current NFW Tag Team Champions. These four talented fighters will face off against Galaxy's rule breaking faction BAD BLOOD, consisting of Kyoko Kimura, Basara and Hisae Watanabe. Bad Blood has taken immediate offense to Rena's signing and a bitter feud has developed between the two sides. Now Rena has some strong reinforcements who are not against breaking their own rules to secure a victory. Bad Blood's fourth member is rumored to be veteran bad girl and #1 Kendo wielder Sayuri Okino. This should make for an exciting battle with bone breaking possibilities.

Rena will partner up with Triple Tails to face Bad Blood on May 11th

Here's a detailed summary, from the NFW website, on the three main matches from "Mother's Day Slaughter":

                                              NFW #1 Contender's Match

Sarah Stock entered the ring first, followed by Hiroyo Matsumoto. There was mutual respect between the two combatants but also a "steely stare," as both know what's at stake.Sarah Stock took the fight to Hiroyo, who gave back as much as she received. The crowd seemed to be solidly behind Hiroyo, for the most part. and while Sarah Stock had her moments, it was clear that she couldn't match Hiroyo's power. Sarah Stock attempted a double underhook powerbomb but Hiroyo blocked it & hit the Backdrop Driver on Sarah Stock for the 1-2-3 pin at 18:47 & another shot at the NFW title!

                                               NFW Tag Team Championship

This was a match-up of young vs old...aka, experienced...as the Shirai sisters defended the tag titles v the legendary duo of Manami Toyota & Mima Shimoda! As much as the crowd loves the Shirai sisters, there was no doubt who the crowd was behind for this match. After 10 or so minutes of solid technical wrestling, the match turned into a total brawl  & spilled outside the ring. Mio Shirai & Mima Shimoda came out bloody after being smashed with chairs, tables & into the ring posts. Io Shirai & Manami Toyota escaped the blood but took serious punishment themselves. It looked like the "old guard" might pull off the victory when Manami Toyota then set up Io for the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex but Mio distracted the ref towards Mima Shimoda & Mio delivered a roundhouse kick to Manami's back, freeing Io. Mima Shimoda, enraged, came into the ring after Mio Shirai but got a Roundhouse Kick to the face & was pinned 1-2-3 at 21:51. The Shirai sisters retained the tag titles but the crowd was as enraged as Toyota & Shimoda about the Shirais' tactics & demanded another title shot in their kind of match! The crowd roared, while the Shirai sisters conferred with each other. The Shirai sisters agreed & the bombshell was told & who better to tell the crowd & TV audience than Joey Styles, the voice of NFW, in the ring...THE SHIRAI SISTERS v MANAMI TOYOTA/MIMA SHIMODA FOR THE NFW TAG TITLES, IN AN ELECTRIFIED STEEL CAGE MATCH! You can probably realize what Joey Styles' response was..."OMG, OMG, OMG"!!

                                                NFW Championship

Ayako Hamada & Cheerleader Melissa shook hands before their title match...and that's where the friendliness ended. One of the hardest-hitting matches in joshi history, Hamada & Melissa also went to the outside...with Hamada getting busted open! Melissa tore into Hamada like nobody ever had but Hamada gave back as well. The ref was unable to control the action and, with both ladies fighting like pitbulls on the outside of the ring, finally declared the match a Double DQ at 23:19. Hamada retained the NFW title but Melissa was enraged that the match had ended & demanded a rematch at the next NFW show. I can only imagine what will happen when Hamada & Melissa meet again!

The SOURCE has confirmed some big announcements from NFW:

- NFW is strongly considering adding another title to its' promotion...something like an NFW TV title or an NFW Princess of Extreme title. Nothing has been decided yet but look for an announcement in the next several weeks.

- The NFW Championship Three-Way match on Sunday will be fought under ECW rules...the winner MUST pin, not one, but TWO opponents to win the match & become NFW Champion! Also, all future three-way matches in NFW will be fought under the same rules!

- As has been announced, NFW will hold its' first extreme match this Sunday...an Electrified Cage match for the NFW Tag Team Championship between the Shirai sisters, who hold the title, and the team of Manami Toyota & Mima Shimoda. If the match is as successful as expected, NFW plans to hold more of these types of matches...but only as a last resort to settle feuds.

- Finally, the biggest announcment of all...NFW has retained the services of Kana from GALAXY for this weekend & Kana will be in the corner of her friends, the Shirai sisters, for their tag title match, in a Triple Tails reunion of sorts! Kana will not be wrestling & the match is in an Electrified Cage but never underestimate what Triple Tails might do, to ensure victory!

NFW looks forward to a packed house for this Sunday's show!

GALAXY HOUSE SHOW RESULTS & SUMMARY

GALAXY held their first non-televised house show this afternoon at Tokyo’s Shin-Kiba 1st Ring which also kicked off the Queen of Galaxy Tournament. Here is a brief summary of that event and quick results from today’s matches with further highlights to be included in tomorrow’s Galaxy Evolution broadcast:

The event kicked off with a tag team matchup pitting resident rudo faction Bad Blood, Kyoko Kimura and kick boxer Hisae Watanabe, against MMA fighter Emi Fujino and the spunky Nao Komatsu. Bad Blood consistently broke match rules to insight the crowd but it did not slow them down as the rule breakers won the match following a big boot from Kimura.

The next match kicked off the Queen of Galaxy tournament with a surprise entry allotted to youngster Sawako Shimotsuke who would face imposing Gaijin star Madison Eagles, however that would not be the biggest surprise of the evening.  Their was added tension to this match after last week’s upset win by Shimotsuke, her first in Galaxy, in a tag team match against Madison Eagles’ team. Eagles applied some heavy punishment early on in the match and it looked like the veteran would coast but somehow Shimotsuke persevered and it appeared embodied the spirit of Jumbo Tsuruta himself, mounting a huge comeback, landing some big knees including one in the corner that the entire arena could see hurt Eagles badly, Sawako raised her arm in Jumbo fashion and then finished Madison Eagles off with a thunderous lariat to score her biggest career win and the first major upset of the tournament.

The monstrous Eiger made her first Galaxy appearance this afternoon and the crazed behemoth  dished out a lot of punishment to the gorgeous legend of the ring Takako Inoue. Takako fought back defiantly and held her own. Then things just got weird. It appeared Takako’s beauty got to Eiger who held Takako down and started stroking her hair and rubbing her face then got up and Eiger began feeling and messaging her own face. Takako was confused and asked the referee what was gong on. Eiger refused to fight Takako and several wrestlers from the back came to ringside to encourage Eiger to continue with the match. Eiger motioned to Makoto, one of the fighters that came to ringside to help out, and pointed back at Takako. She gestured that they were both pretty and Eiger herself was not. Eiger then got angry and started shaking the ropes and punching the turnbuckle, she lunged out of the ring and chased off the ring girls to the back. Makoto was able to calm her down but not in time as the referee counted Eiger out of the match and awarded the victory to Takako Inoue in a very bizarre scenario. Takako will advance in the tournament.

Makoto was in action next, taking on the unbeaten Sara Del Rey. Del Rey was the early aggressor and leveled Makoto with her versatile arsenal until Makoto sped the match up, hitting some big moves off the ropes and looked like she may pull off the night’s second major upset until out from the back again came Eiger. It is unclear whether Eiger was trying to harm or protect Makoto but either way she costs her the match when she reached in and grabbed Makoto by the legs, pulling her out of the ring and began carrying her to the back. Makoto fought back and broke free from Eiger, rushing back to the ring to avoid a countout only to be met with a huge high kick from Del Rey as she entered the ring that nearly knocked her out cold.  Del Rey then covered for the win as Eiger watched from ringside. After the match Makoto got on the mic and told Eiger that she did not know what her problem was and that she cost her a shot in the tournament. Makoto said she was only trying to help Eiger before but that she did not want Eiger to help her out in anyway from now on and that she wants to make that clear by challenging Eiger in a tag team match for Queendom ‘11, if anyone out there can control her enough to get her in the ring for a real fight. Del Rey moves on in the tournament.

The main event saw Kana take on Bad Blood’s Basara in a stiff and exciting match with a lot of grappling and submission attempts from both parties. Kana eventually proved her dominance and wore her opponentt down, defeating Basara with a wheelbarrow german suplex for the pin in just over 13 minutes of action. Kana moves one step closer to fulfilling her dream of being the Queen of Galaxy. The tournament continues tomorrow.

Galaxy, 5/17/11
Shin-Kiba 1st Ring
“Galaxy in the House Vol. 1”

1. Kyoko Kimura [W] & Hisae Watanabe defeated Nao Komatsu [L] & Emi Fujino (9:34) by pinfall after Kimura used a big boot on Komatsu.
2. QoG Rd1: Sawako Shimotsuke pinned Madison Eagles (10:15) following a lariat.
3. QoG Rd1: Takako Inoue defeated Eiger (FREE) (8:20) by countout.
4. QoG Rd1: Sara Del Rey pinned Makoto (7:51) following a high kick and outside interference from Eiger.
5. QoG Rd1: Kana pinned Basara (13:06) with a wheelbarrow german suplex.

The SOURCE has received a press release from NFW, detailing their last show:

NFW's "Blood, Sweat & Explosions"  card was a smashing success! A full house was expected at the Osaka Rinkai Sports Center & the fans AND show didn't disappoint, as the fans came away fully appreciative of the wrestling displayed.

The card was solid & fans seemed to agree that the Yoko Bito-Hikaru Shida time limit draw was the best match of the lower portion of the card but the highlight of the night were the final two matches:

NFW Tag Team Championship - Electrified Cage

The first team to enter the ring were the challengers, Manami Toyota & Mima Shimoda, and they were the obvious favorites of the crowd, as the fans went nuts when they appeared! On the other hand, the Shirai sisters were greeted with LOUD boos...not that they cared! But the biggest impact was the appearance of Kana from the GALAXY promotion, as she came to the ring with the Shirai sisters...a Triple Tails reunion, of sorts! However, Kana was there simply for moral support...or, so everyone thought! The first five or so minutes were a feeling-out process, with both teams a little tentative knowing how important & dangerous a match it was. However, after the Shirai's repeated use of double-teaming & illegal tactics, the team of Toyota & Shimoda had enough and the fight turned into a full-fledged brawl...and the first one to get "electrifed" was Io Shirai & the second was Mima Shimoda. All four ladies were busted open by the end of the match. The finish came when Mima Shimoda motioned to the timekeeper to turn off the electrified cage, allowing her to climb over & down and gain the victory and tag titles. Kana, seeing this, got a hold of some cage-cutters & tried to free Io Shirai...Mio Shirai & Manami Toyota were laid out in the middle of the cage, after a wicked exchange of suplexes & roundhouse kicks. After a while, it was obvious that Mima Shimoda would beat Io Shirai to the outside, when Kana left Io Shirai to cut through the cage door herself & proceeded to stop Mima Shimoda from reaching the ground, by climbing the outside cage to intercept Mima Shimoda...which Kana did & the two engaged in a brutal fight on the outside of the cage, bashing each other's face & head into the steel. Soon, Kana was as busted open, as Shimoda. But the interference by Kana worked...as Io Shirai finally cut the cage enough to crawl out & touch the outside mat first, at 25:04, and retaining the NFW Tag Team titles for the Shirai sisters! Bloody & battered but still the champs, the Shirai sisters & Kana...aka Triple Tails...walked away victorious.

                                         NFW Championship - Three-Way Match

Hard to believe that the crowd could possibly be ready for another main event match, after the Electrified Cage, but they gathered their wits & cheered on their favorites in the Three-Way match for the NFW Championship! The overwhelming favorite was Hiroyo Matsumoto & the crowd didn't want to be disappointed a second time...however, Ayako Hamada was the defending champion and not about to give up her title. The match started out very slowly, with Matsumoto, Hamada & Melissa respecting each other & looking for the right opportunity to ATTACK! Finally, all three ladies started laying into each other & the match even went to the outside of the ring. To say these ladies are the stiffest of all joshi is an understatement...what sounds of flesh beating flesh that reverberated throughout the arena! Finally, with Hamada on the outside of the ring, Matsumoto took her opportunity & set Cheerleader Melissa up for the Backdrop Driver...1-2-3...and now it was just Matsumoto & Hamada in a rematch of sorts from the 1st NFW show. Hamada hammered Matsumoto with everything she could & hit the Hamada Driver on Matsumoto, not once but twice. On her third attempt, Matsumoto blocked it & hit the Ligerbomb on Hamada...1-2-3...the crowd ERUPTED into cheers & Hiroyo Matsumoto cried tears of joy at becoming the second NFW Champion! In a great act of sportsmanship, Ayako Hamada insisted on handing the title to Hiroyo & put the title around Matsumoto's waist. Hamada then lifted Hiroyo's hand into the air & the crowd just ate it up!

What an awesome night of wrestling. Stay tuned for news on NFW's next wrestling show!

The first match of WJP's "NO LIMIT '11" show at Differ Ariake on June 3rd has been announced!

Due to the events during last week's show, AKINO and MsChif will face each other in a Street Fight. No disqualifications, no count-outs, no time limit and all weapons and objects are legal in this match.

AKINO says this will be a great oppourtunity to get her revenge on the self proclaimed "Your Soul's Tormenter", MsChif.

Sayuri Okino Accepts Challenge for Eiger

GALAXY - The Source reports that freelance fighter Sayuri Okino has accepted Makoto's challenge on behalf of Eiger and along with a third mystery partner to be named later will face Makoto and whoever she can find brave enough to step in the ring with the monstrous Eiger in a six woman match on June 1st when GALAXY hosts their first event at Korakuen Hall, titled "Queendom' 11."

Okino stated that she has bonded with the enigmatic Eiger over the years and has successfully won titles with the strange woman in black and that a young attractive girl like Makoto has no right to blame Eiger for her loss last week just because she did not know how to control or communicate with her. Eiger was actually looking out for Makoto and trying to protect her but now Makoto will face the full wrath of the beast on June 1st as Okino and Eiger will happily take the blame for destroying Makoto's innocence and attractiveness. Okino just hopes Makoto can find two other women brave enough to step in the ring with them. She also made sure Makoto knows she will be carrying her kendo stick with her and that their mystery partner will be someone that sees things the same way she does.

Look for that match and many more when GALAXY produces QUEENDOM '11 at historic Korakuen Hall.

Makoto finds Queendom partner in NFW's Hikaru Shida

GALAXY - Makoto has responded to Sayuri Okino with an announcement of her own. She has enlisted the help of NFW's Hikaru Shida as her first partner for the June 1st Queendom '11 Trios Match against Okino & Eiger's team. Makoto says she has great respect for Shida and that she is one of the brightest young stars wrestling today and hopes that the two can continue their friendship into the future and be leaders of the sport looking towards tomorrow. Makoto also stated that she is not afraid of Eiger or Okino and her stick and definitely does not agree with the way they act or fight. She says it was her that was helping Eiger and not the other way around but she will never do that again and on June 1st, Shida and she will prove that even young and so called attractive fighters can fight. They are not just pretty faces but professional wrestlers with a lot to prove and willing to do whatever it takes to win that match so Okino better not forget that.

BAD BLOOD TALKS RENA & TRIPLE TAILS WITH MASA HORIE

A trio of tough looking women in black tee shirts wearing leather jackets and dark sunglasses met with the Source's Masa Horie Thursday morning. These three women going by the name "Bad Blood" have terrorized the women's pro-wrestling promotion Galaxy since its inception. Kyoko Kimura is the de facto leader and spokesperson for the group, backed by talented youngster Basara and kickboxing legend Hisae Watanabe. On Wednesday the team suffered a disqualification loss to two of their biggest rivals, the 19 year old shootboxing star Rena and the self-titled "Queen of All Wrestling" Kana, who herself belongs to a 3 member faction known as Triple Tails, after non-competing fighter Watanabe entered the ring unprovoked and attacked Rena with a kendo stick. Yet, the "loss" was necessary these women claim, in order for them to show that they are the aggressors and the ones pushing everyone else around as they see fit, that the rules do not apply to them as they make thier own. Here is what Kyoko Kimura had to say:

Masa Horie: What is the issue between you ladies and young phenom Rena? Why do you continue to attack and hound her?

Kimura: What issue man? We don't hound anyone. Rena does not deserve what she is getting. Galaxy has handed her everything and we are just there to maintain the equilibrium and make sure she pays for what she gets. She does not belong in the same ring as us and we do not want to fight and bleed in a tainted ring after she's been in it.

MH: But Hisae, you know this girl. You come from a similar background as far as shootboxing, MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing yet you have been embraced by these women in Bad Blood and you still attack her. What is that all about?

Kimura: Talk to me man. You can ask me the questions, that is how this works see. Hisae paid her dues. She has the battle scars and has earned her right to be here raising hell and causing havoc around here, playing by her own rules, no matter where she came from. She fought her way up the ranks, she bled and broke bones doing it, she is Bad Blood to the core. And you know something, Hisae is pretty enough but you don't see her on all the posters and magazines like little girl Rena. It's sick man. Some kind of young girl fetish or something. You don't see me running around in skimpy clothes with a lot of makeup on and pretending I am a fighter. No way. I am a *&^@ing Hardcore fighter not a Hardcore adult video star which is what these girls like Rena are playing at, using their looks to advance themselves and who knows what else. That $&#@ doesn't sit well with me. She comes right in and everything is given to her, just like it was in shootboxing. Well you know what man, we are taking it all back for ourselves. What they give her, we take it as our own.

MH: Rena has challenged Hisae to a no disqualification match at Queendom '11...

Kimura (interupting): See! That just shows you how young and stupid she is. Of course we....of course Hisae accepts that. Little Rena will regret opening her mouth, I guarantee you that. She is in for a world of hurt and pain like she never felt before.

MH: Will you give her a fair fight?

Kimura: What's fair? Is it fair Rena comes right in and they make her a star before she ever applied her first wrestling hold? Is it fair they sell Rena merchandise at the concession stands but to get a Bad Blood Tee Shirt you have to bleed, sweat and claw your way to earn one? Is life fair fool? Rena said a no disqualification, anything goes match. We'll be fair to that stipulation.

MH: Moving on to Kana and Triple Tails...

Kimura (interupting): Who? What the hell is a triple tail? Those chicks have something wrong with their a$$es?Kana talks to much. (Basara and Hisae smile as Kimura says this)..What?....As I was saying, Kana does not know when to shut her mouth and those other two wannabes just follow her around like whipped dogs.

MH: Those other two women are NFW Tag Team Champions. They are among the best tag team wrestlers in the world today...

Kimura: Blah blah blah. They have shown me nothing. The match we had the other week was nothing. If they are so good and so tough then have them back up that talk. I see them doing crazy matches against old chicks over in NFW but tell them to bring that over here to Galaxy and Bad Blood will show them what true extreme fighting is all about.

MH: Are you issuing a challenge to Mio and Io Shirai?

Kimura: Kana talked it up. I'm just saying that if they come over her, we'll whip their a$$es anytime, anywhere. Hell, Queendom is a big show with all the cameras rolling and it would be a great opportunity for Basara and me to rip those purple panted posers to pieces and tell them to bring their title belts too, I'd be happy to bash their heads with them. That's it, you heard enough. C'mon girls, let's roll, this guy is an idiot....

The SOURCE was able to catch up with Misaki Ohata & asked her about her moving to NFW:

SOURCE: Ohata-san, what made you make the move to NFW?

Ohata: The chance to reunite with my tag partner, Hiroyo Matsumoto & cause mayhem in NFW was too good an opportunity to pass up. Not to mention, I love the competition that the NFW roster will bring & I'm ready to make all my opponents submit...after all, I am the Princess of Submissions!''

SOURCE: You realize that Hiroyo Mastumoto is the NFW Champion, so being a tag team might be difficult.

Ohata: Shut up...Matsumoto-san & I will find a way around that issue. There's no team in NFW that can deal with us or beat us...including those Shirai sisters!

SOURCE: Are you issuing a challenge to the Shirai sisters for the NFW tag team titles in the future?

Ohata: Sure, why not? Unless, they're scared to battle me & Hiroyo (laughing)!

SOURCE: Are you excited about wrestling on Sunday in Miyagi, your hometown? And what do you think of your opponent, Apple Miyuki? She's undefeated, you know!

Ohata: I love wrestling in front of my hometown...they appreciate my wrestling skills more than anywhere else. Apple Miyuki? Please...I'll make her submit in a matter of minutes. Speaking of which, I have to go & practice for my match!

SOURCE: Thanks for your time, Misaki Ohata. I think Apple Miyuki might be in for quite a fight on Sunday!
