Spoke to GH via PM & he said I should post this on the thread:

Anybody know who the SMASH ring announcer is? She's really good, super-cute & my choice for NFW ring announcer...if that's ok with everybody...but don't know her name!

Thanks!

SUNAHO, people will tune in just to see her!

need dates for everyone on weekly shows, so far we have -
Sun - NFW (debuts May 1)
Mon - UJWF (debuts this coming Sun/Mon, April 24/25)
Tues - ?
Wed - ?
Thurs - ?
Fri & Sat - open (run house shows, mini-shows, etc on these days. Also will be reserved for special and inter-promotional Mega events)

If you prefer Fri or Sat, that is fine with me. I will leave the two open dates for anyone who wants to run "house shows" or smaller events at their own discretion, totally optional. The only restriction on a "house show" would be no inter-promotional loaned talent to be used and freelance restrictions still apply on a monthly basis (a promotion can only use the same freelancer one show per month), so keep that in mind but they would be great for running matches within your own promotion roster and showcasing some of the younger, lower card talent as well. That would give everyone a shot to really run 3 shows in one week, just make sure the one main weekly show gets a little it of emphasis, that is the one with the "TV contract & show" and option to use inter-promotional fighters, the real showcase for your promotion.

Let's finalize our rosters. Let's finish designating weekly show dates. Fill in the necessary non-wrestling talent to your promotions. I have started the official threads. When AD is ready with the profile pics, we'll put them on the roster thread, rules are already posted. You are reading discussion thread, so that's self explanatory. Transaction thread is in use. I started "THE SOURCE" which will be our thread to post role-plays and "in character / kayfabe" news stories, interviews, promos, skits, whatever you wish to do. I plan to have a few press conferences leading up to my first event. I will post them there. It is like a news site, magazine, etc for all the promotions to share. A news site and the media do not just follow one promotion, they follow joshi as a whole, so here they will follow all our promotions at THE SOURCE.

If you wish to go ahead and start your individual promotion threads, you may. Just have them follow this format (for example):
Galaxy Events & Results (World of Joshi Official Thread)

does that look ok?

I don't think we need the bracket on the official results threads, since anyone who's following this will know that they're affiliated with the World of Joshi universe.

Works for me
So just name of promotion then "Events & Results" is fine by me

Blue Knee has indicated to me that Fridays work best for WJP, so now AD and I still need to choose. I think AD plans to run multiple weekly shows. Which day would best suit you for your TV event slot AD? I will pick from the remaining days, the last two we'll leave open for anyone to run house shows on.

need dates for everyone on weekly shows, so far we have -
Sun - NFW (debuts May 1 @ Shinjuku FACE)
Mon - UJWF (debuts this coming Sun/Mon, April 24/25)
Tues - ?
Wed - ?
Thurs - ?
Fri - WJP (debuts April 29 @ Korakuen Hall)
Sat - ?
Remaining 2 Days - open (run house shows, mini-shows, etc on these days. Also will be reserved for special and inter-promotional Mega events)

AD, if it is cool with you I am going to run Galaxy shows on Wednesdays. That leaves Tues, Thurs and Sat open for your primary weekly shows. The other 2 can be used to run house shows. House show highlights and replays can be shown on weekly main shows too, so the TV audiences will know all the goings on and such.

Sun - NFW (debuts May 1 @ Shinjuku FACE)
Mon - UJWF (debuts this coming Sun/Mon, April 24/25)
Tues - ?
Wed - Galaxy (debuts April 27 @ Zepp Tokyo)
Thurs - ?
Fri - WJP (debuts April 29 @ Korakuen Hall)
Sat - ?
Remaining 2 Days - open (run house shows, mini-shows, etc on these days. Also will be reserved for special and inter-promotional Mega events)

Oh and I am looking for a retired joshi star that would make a good TV commentator to pair up with Genki Sudo and may fit our promotion's style. Any recommendations?
Some I have been thinking of using are Mariko Yoshida, Michiko Omukai (though she may fit better with WWA's brand) and Suzuka Minami (though not sure what happened to her and how much she would be involved with josh today)...maybe Ai Fujita or Momoe. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'll take Saturday's.  Also, seeing that I need announcers, I'm taking Haruo Murata and Ken.txt (AKA Ken Suzuki), with my referees being Bob Yazawa (Former Zenjo) and Duke Sado (Former ZERO1, Michinoku Pro, ROH).

Props to rocky for a stellar UJWF show to kick things off.  NakaHaze win was awesome. I was a bit surprised, pleasantly though about LuFisto's BR victory. Good call there. Of course I was pumped for Makoto taking the No Limits Championship. I really love the concept and rules for that title, very fun stuff. Daff held her own against Hotta, nice and Meiko had a huge win, no pun intended. Then we get to the UJWF Title match and you know what, I like it. Not what I was expecting but it makes a lot of sense and Oz should give the title some badass prestige now that it is back, plus this sets up several possible feuds.

Overall - big win for the first show in my book. Looking forward to what's ahead in the UJWF. Rocky set a high standard for the rest of us World of Joshi promoters to follow.

oh, I figured I should post something somewhere about my backstage jobs, which are all handled by the wrestlers.

Head Booker: Kyoko Inoue
Backstage Manager: Yoshiko Tamura
Road Agents: Kaoru Ito, Meiko Satomura
Public Relations: Ayumi Kurihara

so yeah, if you could add that to "non-wrestling staff" or something like that on the official page (I'm going to put it on my first post in my thread), that'd be awesome :3

I know this sounds a bit "off-the-wall" but wanted to pass this by the group:

Joey Styles (lead TV announcer)
Megumi Kudo (lead TV analyst)
Atsushi Onita (lead booker)
SUNAHO (ring announcer)
??? (head referee)

MEGUMI KUDO - "Evil Princess" & "Extreme Queen"

KANA - "Joshi Queen of STIFFNESS"

MANAMI TOYOTA - "The Legend"

TRIPLE TAILS - "Joshi's version of the Triple Threat"

I updated the official rosters page with data

When AD returns and has those profile pics ready, we'll use those.

Speaking of which...AD, you still around?

Anyone heard from Antonio DAMAN? He is our remaining promoter and was rather ambitious with his promoting ideas and then all the sudden...gone. Not sure what happened there so AD, if you get this, update us on your status. If we don't hear from him in a while we may disperse the WWA roster throughout the World of Joshi promotions and/or invite a new promter in to take over that roster. Sending him a PM now to see if he is still with us.

Rocky and Blue Knee, awesome job with your shows this week, I really enjoyed them. And kudofanatic, I dig those promos and look forward to the big debut.

so on account of my computer dying, the results for my show will be delayed for a bit until I can solve that.

Still no word from Antonio DAMAN. AD, if you get this, shoot me a PM and let me know your plan.
If we don't hear from him by the end of this week (weekend) and WWA misses their third straight show, then we will need to decide on what to do with that promotion. We'll probably just do a dispersal draft with the WWA talent and split those up through the four other promotions.

WJP would like to apologise for the cancellation of their Sunday 8th of April show at Itabashi Green Hall. They will be holding another show there on another date, and people who have already purchased tickets can get a refund, or use them for the next show planned there.

With that out of the way, we would like to announce that the next WJP show will be held on this Friday (13th of April) at Zepp Tokyo. A partial card will be announced very soon.

We hope to see you there! *approve
