What aspect of the new information makes you say that?

Trainers also have more than themselves. Typically, there's a "moves" trainer that comes in to teach the drills and then the "name" person teaches storytelling etc.,
I'm sure she can teach how to put a match together, how to construct highspots (cage dive) which she did pretty good while she was upper midcarding in AJW. She was also a moves type of wrestler when she was skinny.

She was an awesome wresetler 10 years ago, but I haven't seen much promise in her trainees outside of Ichii Mai and Hanako. Sato's fine too, but I dunno. Ito as a trainer doesn't do much for me. I'm also scared she'll injure Nozaki, but all in due time I suppose.

Interesting bit on the Diana front:

They've been posting PDF's of their seating charts for almost all of their shows - and the attendance capacities aren't very much...  Differ's only being set up for 1,273; Osaka Move-on 272; Yamagata Big Wing 744 people; Nanyo is only set for 564, and Kawasaki City Gym won't even have the second floor of gym seating opened, and will only be set up for 1,008 people.  Their show at Iwaki is the only one that doesn't have a seating chart yet.  Looks like they're being a bit careful about things here. :P

PDF's:
Differ: http://www-diana.com/pdf/20110321differ.pdf (1,273 seats)
Osaka: http://www-diana.com/pdf/20110424osaka.pdf (272 seats)
Yamagata: http://www-diana.com/pdf/20110429BW.pdf (744 seats)
Nanyo: http://www-diana.com/pdf/20110501shimin.pdf (564 seats)
Kawasaki: http://www-diana.com/pdf/20110514kawasaki.pdf (1,008 seats)
Total Possible attendance: 3,861 Fans (Plus Iwaki, whatever that might be)

That's very smart of them. I knew that they wouldn't be able to completely fill up Ariake or Kawasaki Gym completely so cutting down the attendence capacity is a good idea. *approve

They've got their first "new" talent, a 14-year-old girl (she turns 15 on 3/31) who passed the protest/exam. I don't know her first name (her last name appears to be Fujimura), she appears to have been intraining since July 2010, possibly at Animal Hamaguchi's gym. Stands about 5'2" tall, about 106 pounds/48 kg, prior sports history includes volleyball and 2 years of karate and kickboxing. And she's a typical Japanese girl-loves to shop.
(Pictures of her on Ringstars, I'd link to it but they're picky about hotlink & copy-paste now)

The card for Diana's debut show.  They apparently want to kill Nagisa and "Sareee" (the rookie Sari Fujimura) and make Sato & Yuki work really hard for their money.  And look who they lured out of semi-retirement! They have funny names for each match.

DIANA "Rising: Episode 1-Outbreak" March 21, 2011
Tokyo Differ Ariake

1. Which is the Next Ace?: Ayako Sato vs Aya Yuki
2. Shooting Battle: Mariko Yoshida vs Keiko Aono (aka Keito)
3. Over The Beast Diend or Alibegin?: Nagisa Nozaki vs Aja Kong
4. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Sareee Debut Match): Sareee vs Meiko Satomura
5. The Lock Up, Best 2 of 3 Falls: Kyoko Inoue & Aya Yuki vs Kaoru Ito & Ayako Sato

Nagisa got over Meiko and Kana. Aja's gonna be different because of how she can be. If she thinks Nagisa's complete crap or thinks that working around her arm is dumb, Nagisa's career may be over. But Aja's also very motherly and may nurture her.

Crazy to see Yoshida come back for a show that's completely against a lot of her ideals with pushing old ladies. Will be interesting to see. Maybe Kyoko's got a mega dolla dolla backer.

Um, it's not actually completely against her ideals. The "old ladies" (see, Hyperion that term is used a lot) aren't really being "pushed". They're attempting to establish the younger girls but how can you do that if there is no heat/interest anywhere in the promotion? Everything has to start somewhere. . ..

Show looks ok. Surprised to see Yoshida there. Interesting that they are trying to push either Sato or Yuki as the top young girl. I suppose Nozaki's match with Aja is a test to see if she can last.

I couldn't post this due to getting more IP errors when trying to post with this website but Kyoko has said she won't be using any freelancers in Diana. Apparently, she tried to sign some of them, but no one wanted to join. She thought that they weren't getting any offers to join leagues, but has found out that the freelancers wanted to be freelancers. She's claimed that freelancers have killed joshi and bad for it and she's said that she will not be using any freelancers.

She really wanted Ayumi, she even offered Ayumi's agent booking of the whole company to get her.

Freelancing didn't kill joshi; the older generation holding on to the past while the joshi fans demographic completely changed killed joshi. ICE RIBBON pretty much revealed that with their success, which STARDOM is trying to replicate.

Girls like Ayumi, Triple Tails & the S-OVATION girls freelance because they make more money that way.

I know blind hatred and hyper-criticizing (before the company gets off the ground) as well as ignorance of how things actually work in the booking room (but gotta blame somebody even though you know shit about what actually happened) is popular around here but that was lame as hell.

One could actually say that thinking that a company can push new faces immediately is a symptom of internet complainers being so far removed from the reality of wrestling as a business that they'll just say anything.

Well, apparently she's gone back on her word. Unless outsiders don't count as freelancers because there are a few on the card from other promotions. The 4/17 card:
Ayako Sato vs. Aya Yuki
Keiko Aono vs. Mariko Yoshida
Nagisa Nozaki vs. Aja Kong
Sari Debut Match: Sari vs. Meiko Satomura
3 Falls Match: Kyoko Inoue & Aya Yuki vs. Kaoru Ito & Ayako Sato

Sari is the first girl to pass the test and join the roster.

She turns 14 in just a couple days, she stands 5'2", 106 pounds/48 k. She started training at Animal Hamaguchi's Gym in July 2010 and passed the protest in February despite a possible injury. She has 2 years experience in kickboxing & karate, is a pro wrestling fan and is also yout typical Japanese girl-loves to shop.

All of those outsiders are affiliated with another promotion, I think even Mariko's still considered to be a part of S-Ovation...I probably should've asked Hachi this past weekend.  Also, by bringing in outsiders, you already know who's going to job!

A little girl who's just about to turn 14 shouldn't be beating anyone in her first match ever let alone Meiko Satomura.

Nagisa really shouldn't be beating Aja Kong either. Aja will atleast make her look good in defeat so she'll still get some rub.

Yoshida vs Keiko, really doesn't matter at all who wins this, wouldn't surprise me if Yoshida lays down though.
