Kyoko is wayyyy too good for CZW. I hope this is just a rumor.
Really? CZW doesn't just put on craptastic hardcore-fests. They actually have decent wrestling.

I really hope your being sarcastic. Their non-hardcore matches are usually filled with a million headrops and flippy, contrived moves with ZERO psychology. They make Dragon Gate look like the Crush Gals era. [/purist]

But I'm not completely against harcore wrestling, I occasionally enjoy it. I usually prefer it when there is still some wrestling involved and some sort of story being told (I don't think there will ever be another deathmatch like Megumi Kudo vs Combat Toyoda in that aspect).

And if any Joshi wrestler should appear in CZW, it should be the other Kyoko.

Wow, if you don't like the wrestling in the Best of the Best tournament they just had, then you don't like wrestling. Nothing to do with Death Matches whatsoever, and not head drop fests either. Pretty much the same style you'd see in Chikara. Yeah, half the guys  in that tourney wrestle or did wrestle in Chikara as well.
And what's so great about Kyoko in, oh I dunno, the last 12 yrs, to say she shouldn't wrestle anywhere? She can't rest on her laurels anymore. The Kyoko of today doesn't even come close to holding up to say the Aja of today or the Toyota of today in respect to their careers. It's like saying wow, Ito shouldn't wrestle in CZW. Ito shouldn't wrestle period in the shape she's in. Kyoko's not far behind.

Kyoko is coming in for an anime convention appearance. CZW just happens to be who is running the ECW Arena that weekend. I'm sure that she would try to get on whatever promotion was running that weekend.
I hope that I can get to see her sometime over the weekend.

An intermediary was working with CZW to have Kyoko and Sumie Sakai wrestle on the 6/11 ECW Arena show, but things fell thru for the time being. So there is the AnimeNext signing and a signing at a NJ supermarket, I am guessing Mitsuwa Japanese market, but not sure if that is the store or not.

I will give Diana credit for running more shows away from the typical Tokyo-Osaka region than other promotions.

Diana anounced they'll be doing a bus trip to their Yamagata show.

It's 13,000 JPY (@ $160 USD) for the bus/food & the show leaving from Meguro JR Station on 6/25 at 6AM.

They also announced the joining of Diana of Sumie Sakai and "Jennie." From what it appears, Jennie is an unmasked Jamilla Craft.

I'm old school. Still waiting for my pictures to be developed from my 35mm SLR. They had a good match. Kyoko got a lump on her head from taking a Terry Funk like fall through the ropes to the floor.
Kyoko enjoyed the CZW show. She popped for the crazy bumps.

Next Diana card, featuring the debut of Jennie Rose (I think this is Jamilia Craft sans mask).  The main event is a true superheavyweight affair, with probably the 3 biggest Japanese women working and Andrea (who is Betsy Ruth/Rosie).

The first show was surprisingly really good, and this one looks to be much of the same.

Ayako Sato and Yuki surprised me. They still a ways to go, but they're showing more personality and such which is great.

Nanae might be the best wrestler in the world. She carried Nagisa so well, let her look strong despite obvious physical limitations, and showed so much storytelling, emotion, and variation in moves and transitions.

Keiko Aono's become fun as Mini-Hotta.

Saree's got something, I understand what Inoue see's in her. I can't pinpoint it, but she's got something.

THey're also pushing the younger girls and the wrestling is better than you'd think. So I wish them luck.

Big news out of the DIANA camp-Ayako Sato is pregnant!  Obviously she'll be out of action for a considerable chunk of time.  Time will tell if she returns as Kyoko Inoue did a few years ago when she had her child.

Yeah, heard from Cometako on twitter. She said she'll be back as soon as she has the kid. This is the second time she's had to take time off. I forget what the first time was because of. Sad, because I was really starting to like her.

Rest of the show looks fun. Sachiko vs Aja should be fun. They had a nice little series back in 07 or 08 I believe during Aja's programs with Okuda and Mizunami.
