Check the promotions' websites, they always list ticket prices and if any are still available as well as where to get them.

Thanks for compiling that list.
But I have a question.

I'm currently in Osaka (arrived today actually) and stay here until the 22nd of December, when I leave for Tokyo.
There I'll stay until the 8th of January. On the 9th I'm back in Osaka.
Anyway, I would like to know which shows you guys would recommend for that timeperiod.
Oh, and if it's actually possible to still get tickets for them this short-termed.
Plus, if yes, where to buy them. (I've been to Japan before, but never at a wrestling event)

Cheers.
Go to K-dojo Korakuen shown on the 25th. It looks fairly solid and has some nice tags set up as memorial matches to Gran Naniwa including the original Kaientai teaming up. Probably will be your last chance since Togo is supposed to retire sometime next year.

This is suggested watching for any promotion in the world in 09. Add to it please.

Togo's retiring in June, he's mainly working for DDT the rest of the way. 12/25 will definitely be the last time you see Makoto Oishi in K-DOJO for a while, if at all. He's leaving to become a freelancer.

I know it's still only March 2011 but why not plan ahead? I'm definitely heading to Japan in Dec 2011/Jan 2012 & starting to think about what promotions/shows I'd love to see:

- SMASH
- Pro Wrestling WAVE
- Ice Ribbon
- Anything featuring Kana, Ayumi Kurihara and/or the Shirai Sisters *bwah

If anybody has any suggestions for MUST-SEE, let me know. I was hoping to see NEO but, obviously, they folded & not really following JWP, STARDOM or DIANA but I'm open to try anything new *haha

Just curious...is anybody planning to visit Japan this winter? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes but told that I should still be able to go. I was curious what kind of diabetes-friendly meals I can expect in Tokyo, since it appears that McDonalds will no longer be a part of my diet?

At least, I can still drink sake *haha

I'm sorry to hear that Alex. I'm trying to think, and I was looking at some websites...but most of that was for home cooked meals.

Most stuff as restaurants is fried, or has pasta or rice. I'm sort of at a loss, unless you go to the market and buy your own food, which you could easily do. Simple stuff to make sandwiches.

I'm guessing you can't do much rice, or can you? Because with the fish, i would imagine sushi could be ok, unless the rice is a problem. And then soy sauce is going to be a problem.

Thanks, Sonny.

I'm not really into sushi, though I love seafood...go figure *haha

Sandwiches are cool, though I have to do it with wheat bread. Rice is actually ok...in moderation...as is soy sauce. Guess I'll just have to be very picky...then again, we're talking six months from now so my sugar should be enough controlled that I can indulge...just a bit.

The convenience stores that are everywhere (like 7-Elevens) usually have sandwiches you can buy. The two main convenience stores are Lawson Station and Family Mart. These are all over Japan, and you can't help but run into them everywhere.

They usually sell pre-made sandwiches like tuna, or egg-saad, or ham with lettuce & tomato & cheese. Those are all good, but the bread is always white. You could always take the stuff out of the sandwich though.

I'm sure if you look around hard enough, you could find things you can eat, just off the top of my head, it's hard to think of things, because everything I like to eat is always fried, or it's sushi.

They do have Denny's, perhaps they would have a good selection.

and there's always takoyaki and teppenyaki.  IIRC fried meats are ok for diabetics.
