I tweeted Hiroyo Matsumoto about coming to SHIMMER in September. This is what she replied:

ありがとう！９月は行けないけど、また絶対行きます！

"Arigatou ! 9 gatsu wa ikenai kedo, mata zetta ikimasu!"

"Thank you! September I can't go however, I definitely will go again."

ikenai is a casual form of ikemasen which means "won't go."

Legendary Japanese female wrestler Manami Toyota will make her US debut in September. CHIKARA announced at its Chikarasaurus Rex show that Toyota will be appearing for the promotion.

That's today's show. Meaning either September 18 in Baltimore, MD or September 19 in Brooklyn, NY. Obviously hoping for Baltimore because if all goes as planned I will be there.

In the RINGSTARS magazine covering the joshi SHIMMER/JAPW trip there are photos of Ayumi, Misaki, Hiroyo & Tomoka at GO with Yamazaki.

Ok, went to a party shop where I live & got some streamers. They're 81 feet long X 1.75 inches & here's what I got:

Three (3) RED - Ayumi Kurihara
Two (2) GREEN & BLACK - Tomoka Nakagawa
Two (2) LIGHT BLUE & WHITE - Misaki Ohata

Ayumi gets more...since she's the main reason I'm going to the show in September

Not sure if I can bring more...have to think about the TSA taking my stuff when I check in at the airport...but it's a good start IMO!

This is what the Japanese use, paper ribbon.

There's a special technique to prepare it, and I think ELPS learned it at the last SHIMMER show. ELPS should make a YouTube video showing how to do it. The effect is much cooler than crepe paper, imo.

I wonder which type of streamers the SHIMMER fans are using who threw streamers at MsChif's entrances. Hmm, the crepe paper streamers appear to be a lot broader, is that so?

Please, anyone who plans on doing the streamer thing in September... use the ribbon style. Will look much better than crepe paper.

I can't bring any streamers from Germany, because my luggage will already be heavy enough without them. Like ONI suggested, the best way would be to buy them at local Chicago party stores.

Yes, I did, shupercousin...and already got them. However, luckycleareyes is right...the paper ribbon looks pretty cool...but can't afford to buy more streamers, so will just go with whatever we decide at the pre-party.

But, I will be bringing the crepe streamers...might as well make some use of them.

I stuffed Hiroyo last night....

Stuffed plush doll that is...

This was Lucky's idea, to create a plush Hiroyo to gift to Misaki because she is without her big sister @ SHIMMER. So I went and bought printable fabric, sewn them together and made a Hiroyo plush doll. Yes it's not very plush as it's just cotton fabric, looks more like a small Hiroyo pillow. Oh well. I hope she'll like it ;-D
