oh ok. there re chances roh will put kong on hd net after her non compete clause is over? i guess you won t say me that exactly but that sara del ray storyline where she wants more competion might lead to that. so there is a chance?                                                                                                            who is that masked wrestler called jamilla craft who fought in shimmer and roh?she s a rookie?she s a high flyer? i

Jamilia Craft is a trainee of Daizee Haze, who runs the SHIMMER Training Academy in collaboration with ROH's training school.

Same for Rayna Von Tash.

If I had to narrow it down...I'd go with Meiko, Kana, Emi, and Yoneyama for my choices of who to bring to America. I might have to make a little M/V of them just as who I'd like to bring to America. I mean..just for a fun thing, but if it influenced any decisions, then that'd be awesome too.

I would say Yoshida, but I've heard she's gotten super slow as of late, and as much I love the spider queen, I'd rather see someone who's at 100% Though I will say Aja and Manami would be amazing just for their starpower and stuff.

You've still got a lot to learn about wrestling then. It's not unprecedented, in fact some people prefer it because it doesn't take away from the match.
Safe to say at the ROH school they probably picked up some lizard-speak from head trainer Delirious.

Praying for Japan and all affected by the 3/11/11 earthquake and tsunami.

It was a dvd glitch. They added a commentary version as an extra on volume 27.

29 will be released this weekend by ROH. We're finishing up the final edits on 30 and 31 this week, and then they will go into replication.

The joshi wrestlers have their own SHIMMER license numbers now !!! (It's been a few weeks since I last checked, but the last time I did the roster hadn't been updated).

#65:  Misaki Ohata
#66:  Tomoka Nakagawa
#67:  Ayumi Kurihara
#69:  Hiroyo Matsumoto

Tee hees. I love #69~ I guess they didn't want to give Ayumi #69 huh? Seems if they go by rank, it would be Hiroyo THEN Ayumi...

They would give that pimp Hiroyo 69  *bwah

And if anyone's wondering why they skipped from 67 to 69, it's because Jessica James debuted on volume 30 on one of the opening matches and Hiroyo debuted on one of the uppercard matches on Volume 30.

Yeah.
Tiana Ringer's #1 and Shantelle Taylor's #2 since they worked the very first Shimmer match.

And even though she's champ Madison's #50

Anyone know if this license # style is same as ARSION's license number style? And which promotion was the first to start the license number system for its roster?

Yeah it's pretty much directly taken from ARSION who as far as I  know where the 1st & only ones to do it up until Shimmer started doing it.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but seems like the best choice. I'm interested in info on the SHIMMER show in September:

1) Who's coming besides Ayumi Kurihara & will they be wrestling both shows that weekend?

2) Are tix still available for both weekend shows & how much are they?

3) How many forum members are going, are they staying at one hotel & is there public transportation from downtown Chicago to Berwyn? How much is it & how long a ride?

4) Are there any after-parties & is there a charge to get in?

5) Will there be any photo ops with the wrestlers & will there be merchandise tables at the venue? How about autographs?

There's probably more, but at least 4 of us from the forum are going - me, ELPS, Nagashimark, Oni and his friend.

Nagashimark and I are staying at the Rodeway, we may share a cab or catch a ride with other attendees to get the Berwyn Eagles. Apparently that is the closest decent hotel to the venue (I think it's just 4 miles or so). I think it is about $60 per night, discount if you have AAA (I paid $54).

No other joshi is known to be scheduled at the moment (because SHIMMER is still revealing everyone else)

Three front row seats remain available for Saturday, 9/11, and one front row seat remains available for Sunday, 9/12. E-mail shimmernews@yahoo.com right away if you are interested in purchasing any of the remaining front row seats. They will go to the first person to make payment on them.

General admission seating is still available for both days of tapings. Cost is only $20 per day, which covers the filming of two full length SHIMMER DVD releases each day.

Visit http://shimmerwrestling.blogspot.com/ to secure your tickets right now.

Thanks for the info, shupercousin & Bloody A...appreciate it. Just sent an email to shimmer about tix & checked flights from LA...$280 R/T to O'Hare *omg

Pretty good price...would fly in on Friday afternoon & fly back Sunday. How many shows are there? Maybe, I should fly back on Monday? Wonder if there are any other Joshi fans flying in from LA?

$60 a night *omg...that's an awesome price IMO. Hope you don't mind if I stay at the same place & catch a ride with you & Nagashimark, shupercousin?

Still, have to make sure I can swing the whole trip, financially, & will have to take a day off from work...which shouldn't be a problem.

What about merchandise & meeting the wrestlers & getting photos with them? Did you all go to the show in April? How was it?
