They announced over the weekend that NEO High Speed Champion Natsuki*Taiyo vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto for the title has been added to GOLDEN RIBBON on 5/3, as well as confirming the 3-way International Ribbon Tag Team Title match. That's 5 matches so far. I'm 50-50 on a title change here but leaning towards Natsuki retaining.

The newest addition to their roster: Sayaka Obihiro. According to her profile on Ice Ribbon's website, she is a former baseball player in a women's league but after seeing NEO in Sapporo she decided to try wrestling. She currently works at Ice Ribbon School events as a stand department manager. No in-ring debut date set yet.

She apparently met with Emi Sakura soon after and the rest, they say, is history.

The promotion announced that they are changing their website's URL. The old one (ice-ribbon.ne07.jp) still works for now but they are encouraging people to use the new one:

Its probably a good thing anyway seeing how the last batch of NEO rookies have lasted and the general quality (lack thereof) you see from them.

Another addition to GOLDEN RIBBON today: Kiyoko Ichiki & Hamuko Hoshi vs. "Masa Takanashi child" (DDT/Union Pro) & Chii Tomiya. It appears there is still one more match to come, which means the event will have a total of 7 matches.

From Ice Ribbon? 5/3 should be making air but I wouldn't exspect it to surface on western shores for a while

Beyond that Ice Ribbon doesn't make tv for their smaller shows, just comm tapes

Learn to get by on their DVDs, turnaround time on them is very quick-usually they put one out every 2-3 weeks with 2 shows (except major events, those take longer).

It could happen, sometimes the girls DO compete in Big Japan, hardcore matches at that too (Kyoko Kimura is technically part of their roster).

It hasn't been forever. Only 3 1/2 months-her last appearance there was in January.

Well, you got me thear.
Still, that was 1 match in over 2 years, before that you have to back to 2007 before you'll find her on any BJW shows (I don't count the "Hardcore Ladies" 1 shot deal) besides her randomly popping up to work ring crew sometimes.

Quote
She's also listed as a roster member on Big Japan's English website.

Their English site list a # of other people who haven't been in BJW in years and even when they were they were still just freelancers not part of the actual roster.

The Japanese site is a much better resource.

If you click the fighter button at the top you get re-directed here http://www.bjw.co.jp/vm/senshu-list.html which is a much more up to date list. Though they re-designed that page so everyone's jumbled together now on that page which sucks.

You used to get sent here http://www.bjw.co.jp/page/fighter.html (hit stop when the page loads so you don't get re-directed) which in addition to being up to date, also breaks everyone down into neat little groups of "guys who actually work for us" and "guys who don't but we still book a lot"

Purolove's roster page does pretty much the same thing as well
