RINGSTARS announced that the Shirai Shimai with be be at the "2011 spring BBM sports card show" on 4/17 at Tokyo Dome City.

It's kind of funny, because when you go to that page all the guests are baseball players and then the Shirais. I guess BBM (Baseball Magazine) figured they'd be good reps for their joshi card series. They'll be doing interviews and signing autographs.

The RINGSTARS article also says they'll be selling signed Shodai Tiger Mask & Tenryu cards.

Pics from that match look awesome, Gami and Sakura pulled out all the stops lol

Those cards of the Shirais are probably special cards only for that event too, not part of the BBM 2011 joshi set. Would have loved to have been there.

Fellow joshi fan told me that Io is leaving Triple Tails & rumor is she wants to team with Nanae Takahashi in Stardom

I'm a big fan of Io but this move makes no sense to me...and, truth is, I'm not a big fan of Nanae & see no purpose for Io wanting to team with her! IMO she could choose a better partner or branch out on her own.

Either way though, I'm still a fan of Io & wish her well in whichever route she takes...though, I'm still depressed that she's left Triple Tails

It is kind of a bummer, don't get me wrong, but it's also kind of fun to think that it might all be some insidious plot on Kana's part to infiltrate Stardom.

Dumb question, but when are Kana and Nanae ever going to bury the damn hatchet? I still wish that match was booked, but there is too much heat and animosity between those two for any encounter to come to fruition.

Apparently during Nanae's 15th Anniversary big screen video tribute there was a clip of her and Kana, and the crowd responded to it... I didn't see what the clip was actually of...

There were two times they were going to have a match. First time Kana said no last minute at the big Kawasaki Gym show. Second time was at SMASH's IBM show or whatever the name of it was. Kana said she'd face Emi only if Nanae'd come to, but they never really continued with that and had Yoneyama team with Sakura.

A Kana/Mio vs. Nanae/Io match is one of those things that'd be great from a storyline perspective though. Kayfabe it as Kana having kicked Io out of the group and there's a whole duality there and you could play up a deceitfulness on the part of Kana and how she cares about only herself (like "You respect and care for nobody but yourself! That's why I kicked you out and that's why you kicked out Io!"), to the point of Kana turning Io's own sister against her for Kana's own gain and you'd have a pretty awesome, hate-filled feud.

That's getting a little too far into fantasy booking territory I suppose though.
