Well *technically* she was injured in her last ppv singles match with kong, one of her implants broke (the "concussion" injury) and required replacing.  The things these gals go through just amazes me.  I'm a big Gail fan, but the way she bumps Kong's sitout power bomb scares the hell out of me. In a way, she reminds me of Curt Hennig how she takes her bumps.  She sells really well.

I've made several online Filipino friends, so one thing you forgot to mention-- Filipinos are also suckers for karaoke ;)  Canadian/Indian comic Russell Peters does a fairly funny routine about east/southeast Asian cultures, specifically mentioning Filipinos love of karaoke (the Filipinos in the crowd cracked up).  My gf (Malay/Chinese) loves the guy, you might like him too.

My only perception of Fils is mostly just like anyone else.  Some good people, some bad people, but overall generally really friendly, and in some cases, VERY patriotic people when it comes to their homeland.

To be honest, I can't stand the Ice Ribbon stuff.. I just can't suspend my disbelief to the level where I think a 30 kg girl can overcome a 50+ kg trained rassler.  It reminds me a bit of me and my cousin playing american-style football with my youngest sister when she was 8.  She's *still* convinced we missed *every* tackle and were slower than her, and she's 30 now.  We were both teenagers  *haha

I admit it's a little fun though-- I wonder, does selling for a 10-12 year old toothpick make one a better worker?  hmm.. thoughts?

That makes a lot more sense now.. when I've seen Cherry at Neo and other events, she gets her fair share of cheers, and gals in the crowd yelling "Cherry!!!".  I haven't seen much Sendai though.

*sigh*  Some jackwad who knew I was a Cherry fan just irked me by sending me a "match" from her earlier career.   I knew she did the "apartment wrestling", but this was the porn wrestling.  Mind, she never showed skin, and bailed after their match, but her partner.. ahem.. molested and well.. it's porn. 

Still, dream not shattered, she did what she had to do!  And she wasn't one of the Pr0n stars gettin' it afterward.   *chl

not advertising, but ringdivas added a bunch of matches for $4 each to download.  Some of them are on youtube anyhow, so I can't say what the quality is like.  I think it's all JD Star stuff from early last year.  The whole pirates thing-- I can't be bothered, just throwing that out there.

So far from what I've seen from Josh-I, Cherry's first show of the month is this weekend at Ohmukai's retirement.  She's in the opening match.  I look forward to the results  *whee
