Hey here is the result from the recent SMASH show. [ I could probably be called the SMASH guy for this since I always post SMASH results here] Same drill like the last time.

SMASH "We are SMASH" January 19, 2012
Shinjuku FACE
600 Spectators

TAJIRI,Shuri and Makoto defeated Takuya Kito, Lin Bairon and Aki Shizuku when Shuri used the Standing High Kick on Kito at 13:59.

Kito definitely sucks when it comes to girls.
 *haha

SMASH Divas Title Match - Kana defeated Tomoka Nakagawa with the Modified Cross Armbreaker to win the SMASH Divas Title at 12:30

Sweet revenge for Kana, hope she holds it for a little longer.

That match is good. She is a better wrestler than she was before, and yes she will show no mercy and would not hesitate to give anyone an "one finger salute".

Here the result from SMASH 24. Again, I will only cover joshi matches.

SMASH 24 December 30, 2011
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1600 fans

Shuri defeated Aki Shizuku with the High Kick at 8:30

Make me wonder if Shuri was very aggressive on that match
 *chl

Hardcore Match - Tomoka Nakagawa and Kana defeated Makoto and Lin Bairon when Nakagawa used the 200 percent School Boy on Bairon at 15:37

Tomoka has seemed to have upstaged Kana here, the rematch is now unavoidable.

It's a good thing Kaori changed her mind at the very last minute. The last thing that joshi fans get is another sudden retirement. But nevertheless, good for her.
*approve

As for the people who are NOT happy about her decision, it's probably because they paid to see a retirement match and they did not get to see someone retire, that's why those very same people are reacting to it.
*bwah

JWP is looking good for 2012. Yoneyama holding off her retirement and Nakajima returning soon, this is looking good, can't wait for their team-up or more likely, their feud where Arisa went bitchy again and makes an impact on her return out of Yoneyama's expense.
*haha

As for Kana not happy with Yoneyama's decision, well expect chaos and confusion from her opinions which is, as crazy as it sounds is one the reasons why she is one of my favorites. As for her issues with JWP, maybe it has something to do with her manifesto back in 2010 and JWP did not like it, which is they don't always have Kana on their show.

Hey, I am as shocked as you are. Anyways, here are the results from SMASH again. Just like last time, I will only give results on joshi matches and matches involving joshi wrestlers, but the source may not be accurate like last time.

SMASH "SMASH Live in Osaka" November 25, 2011

2. Tomoka Nakagawa defeated Lin Bairon with the School Boy at 10:26

Tomoka is on fire. *haha

3. Hajime Ohara and Jessica Love defeated Takuya Kito and Mio Shirai when Ohara used the Finnish Forearm on Mio at 7:29

What the heck is Kito doing??? I thought he would do anything for Mio? Why he let Ohara deliver the Finnish Forearm on her???
 *livid

4. Kana and Aki Shizuku defeated Shuri and Makoto when Kana used the Death Valley Bomb on Makoto at 13:48

Seriously, can someone please correct me on this, I mean Kana using the Death Valley??? She loves kicks and submission moves, not high impact moves!!!
 *crazy

Like I said, the results on the last two matches were a little questionable on my opinion so please correct me if I am wrong.

I watched the match, and yes, she is impressive on that match. She is one of those lesser known talents that needed to be brought out in the open. I wish some joshi promotions would sign her as possible.

to JoshiFanFicz - let me see, as far as i know, she spent some time in a promotion that is so small that we barely know about it. She trained at BattlArts around the same time as Kana, which is probably the reason why Kana handpicked her as her opponent in SMASH 22 and they met again BattlArts' final show. Other than that, I don't have much knowledge about her[can anyone please help me get some more info about Aki]. She is very impressive on SMASH 22 and I suggest you watched that match, it is a good match. I wish some joshi promotions would have the guts to sign her as possible.

This is results from SMASH 23, but I will reveal joshi matches or matches involeved joshi wrestlers

SMASH 23, November 24, 2011
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1,500 fans

Match 2 - Aki Shizuku defated Makoto at 6:23 with the Boston Crab

Nice one, Aki. *approve

Match 3 - Keizo Matsuda, Katsumi Hirano, and Kyoko Ichiki defated Takuya Kito, Mio Shirai, and Konaka when Ichiki used the Diving Foot Stomp on Kito at 11:21

I'm guessing things did not work out between Kito and Mio again.  *bwah

Match 5 Hardcore Match - Shuri defated Lin Bairon with the German Suplex at 10:49

That ends Shuri's "slump" [before this, she lost to Kana on 20, dq'ed in a tag match with Makoto against Ayumi and Ray because she snapped at Ayumi at 21, pinned by Nakagawa at 22] expect for her to challenge for the SMASH Diva's title. *chl

Match 6 SMASH Divas Title - Tomoka Nakagawa defeated Kana with the 120 percent School Boy at 8:53

As Zack Ryder would say: are you serious bro?  *saywhat

Anyways, congratulations to Tomoka.  *approve

The first time I saw her was a match against Yuzuki Aikawa, where I saw her employ her heelish attitude very well by targeting Yuzuki's bouncy-bouncies. To me, she and Kagetu stood out among the rest in the Flash Tournament, but Yoshiko stood out to me a little more. She got some love from the fans from the Korakuen Hall at the recent Flash Tournament which is interesting since she is suppose to be a heel, but that's because she prove to anyone she is fearless and willing to go toe to toe with anybody. She is something to look out for in the near future.

By the way, she requests, no she demands that this thread to have more messages or there will be pain and suffering.

I saw that too, and the reason why there are so many people that watched the show probably because it involves 7 promotions and a healthy mix of veterans and up and coming joshi superstars.

Well, she can still run Ice Ribbon even if she is not wrestling right? I mean she can still help on running the promotion backstage as a backstage manager right?

Not a very good situation for Hiroyo, for two reasons:

1. She is officially Ozaki's lapdog, she had to do whatever Ozaki wants her to do.

2. She had to deal with Ayumi, Ran, Chikayo, by which all of them are forced to join Ozaki's army as well for a title shot. Really tough competition.

I hope Aja Kong didn't see this picture, if you know what I mean, and if she does, well she is going to be very upset. Could this mean Hiroyo will be Ozaki's new apprentice let's wait and see.

30 Minute Ironman tag match, that will be interesting, and Fujimoto right now is Ice Ribbon's top star right now. Minami is good for her age but it's obvious that she needs to improve more but right now she is doing what it needs to be done and that's improving her skills, get it.

I only said not very stiff, I did not mean not stiff at all, since being a little stiff is supposed to be the trademark of joshi wrestling and puroresu in general.

If I have a top 10 fave active joshi wrestlers on my list, Kana and Ayumi are in my first and second position respectively. It's actually a hard decision for me on who is no 1 and no 2, and I have to use their recent Wave singles match to decide who is no 1. Kinda lame is it in't?  *give

I know this question will turn off Hiroyo fans but, remember the match she had aganist Okuda, the one with Okuda taken out by Hiroyo's backdrop? As far as I know i'ts an accident, but I want your thoughts about it. I can't imagine Hiroyo being compared to Kana when it comes to roughing up people (though I like Kana a lot). I want to know either Hiroyo did not excute the move well or Okuda did not take the move well and not able to protect herself, which is the reason Okuda got hurt? Thanks.
